Great work on this one mate. You caught the feel of the Huon with its classic tannin mirrored water. The Erik Sate “Gnossiennes” version was outstanding and matched the mood of the river. So looking forward to Kettering given the sneak peak we had…

Thank you once again for another fine ride along

Thanks Barry. It is a beautiful part of the world. I’m up North at Tamar heads tonight. I’m sleeping ashore but parked Sarah Ann At an old abandoned dock near the pilot station. It’s blowing its guts out. Not used to leaving her alone. So I’m a bit worried. I need some decent fenders! I hope your leg has healed up? Looking forward to catching up if you get down this way any plans?

Lovely calm mood prelaunch, no panic along with Eric Satie minimalist music. Thanks for sharing libraries of visual footage above and below the surface.

I am very fortunate to have been out a couple of times around that neck of the woods. It's one of those rare places on Earth where the natural beauty of God's creation is somewhat overshadowed by the natural beauty of man's creation... namely, the beautiful yachts that are seemingly a penny a pound around those parts.
Your presentation has done the region justice. The Tasmanian Tourism Commission should be compensating you for your efforts.
In the unlikely event that you are ever short on material, may I suggest a tutorial on how to convince one's wife to sell the family home, move to Tasmania and purchase a yacht.
Thank you for your efforts. I have liked and subscribed. Cheers.

Thanks for your encouraging feedback David. It sure is a great place for sailing, and many many beautiful wooden boats have been built here. Helps that we have Bass Strait in the way or we would be overwhelmed!

It’s actually a mirrorless digital. Made by Olympus and a bit retro styled which I like. It’s waterproof to IP 67 but I’m not planning to test that out.

New subscriber. I sail on the Pamlico River and the Pamlico Sound of Eastern North Carolina USA. Washington NC is our home port. Sail 23 ft (7.0M) Balboa/ Aquarius. I hope you don't mind me stealing a couple of your ideas for my Boat "Croatan". Happy I found your channel. I've been binge watching. I think I've seen the restoration, engine install, St. George Mnt. among others. Pretty work Chris. I envy you Sara Ann. she's beauty. She's a proper little ship. Bless you for your commitment to the channel and your boats.

Thanks for connecting Tim. I visited North Carolina in 2015. Very pretty place. Chris Sly on Facebook @smallsailboatcruising is a good place to connect with me for a conversation. I would like to see some photos of your boat. I’m not familiar with the design. I’m glad you got some ideas worth “stealing “ 🙂 God Bless. Chris.
