Well, Monarch put up a good fight in the group but they needed to take two points here to have a chance. So it seems it will come down to FTK vs Invoked Shadoll. Invoked Shaddoll seems to be getting creamed by these matchups being a deck without a ton of handtraps.
@@filiphavojic8045 2017 is where modern yugioh nonsense happened. You had zoo which was basically a "1 card combo decks" and super degenerate stuff like spyral and then it just got worse and after that and by 2018 it was a different game
@@kingvegeta7868 Swordsoul, Virtual World, True King, Salamangreat, Orcust etc. are all decks that werre top tier since then and didn't repy on 1 card combos. Also decks like Striker and some Runick versions were also control, out grinding decks in the same time period.
@@filiphavojic8045 swordsoul is literally one card synchros and it routinely beats everything in the cbc except for things that came after it. And all those decks more or less has really dumb interactions or combos that further proves how degenerate yugioh became post 2016/17

Also being a very late/post toss mr4 deck, if they were allowed to play under mr5 they'd be much stronger

Ash existed since 2017 though. Plenty of non 1 card top tier decks existing in that period.
