Shock Master forces "balanced" deck construction to force people to play around it, something that's been lost on people who run decks that can't even deal with a card that only disrupts a limited number of monster effects.
I will write it again: @Lithium please make sure to start always with the worst placed decks in the last round before playing with the first two placed to keep up the suspense! Thanks!
Lavalval Chain, Shock Master and Delteros were practically the only monsters summoned the entire match. Crazy stuff. Next match is an interesting one! We have Drytron going up vs Snake Eyes. Snakes probably have enough handtraps and boardbreakers to stop Drytron, but they do have a high enough ceiling to have a chance. Drytron needs the full 3 points and to win at least 3-1 if not 3-0 which won't happen.
surely the 2 shockmaster turbo decks will play interactive and fair yugioh just like kazuki takahashi intended or why otherwise would these cards exist.
not all that surprising given that tellars had more ways of playing around shock master then clowns did, it is pretty funny seing 2 pre tour favourites finishing bottom of their groups
I underestimated the power of a more cohesive archetype with broken extra deck. Clownblade is cool but lacks the explosiveness and consistency that Tellar has, and the traps Tellar plays also made a huge impact thanks to the non-engine space of the deck. They have similar extra decks but the Tellar engine is more solid than the clowns and the generically good lv4 guys.
Clown blade is way more consistent it always has plays why it lost was because of the traps tellars have and not going for infinity over shock master was a bad decision infinity is better against compulse etc and negated tellars effects they can't do anything
Delteros doesn't let the opponent respond during the summon window while it has material, and Stick makes it pop and draw on Xyz summon. It prevents things like Bottomless etc too.
@@AomineDaiki_Zone The way Delteros works is that your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when a monster is summoned while it has material, including Delteros itself. Since Delteros has gained the effect to destroy a card and draw *when it is Xyz Summoned*, your opponent cannot respond to the pop effect.
Next year, Triverr Tellarknights should be included. The deck is so much more powerful with their real boss monster. Also @4:45 shouldve just Castel and spun the Fiendish chain back to attack with Delteros.
We've seen tellars with triver in previous editions. It didn't do that much but it was the played version for us TCG players back in the day (stick and chair I believe were released way sooner in the ocg), so I would prefer that as well even not being a title candidate.
@sejotejerina3732 as long as Lithium doesnt use the same worlds list that was specifically tailored to beating Nekroz, i believe they can do much better especially with the triple soul charge lists that were winning regionals left and right during that time
@@AmusedDragonflies-it8nu oh but he used a regional 1st place once (London I believe), not only the world's list. Tellarknight is slow and inconsistent, that's the problem with the deck, and if the opponent pushes through back row well... Results speak for themselves. We have better decks in this game's history.
They were never good with the new support But when they got Triverr, they were actually able to compete with the big 3 of the time (Qli, Shadoll and BA)
SPOILER SHIELD 🛡
We have understimated once again the power of set 5 pass even under Shock Master

@@MarioLopez-xs3vcthis so much. combomonke when they see player use the other 2/3 of card types
How the mighty have fallen. Clownblade, a previous winner, only getting 4 points is insane
clownblade got god hands and constant good match ups that year
the power level here is so ridiculously low it's insane
Surprising result. I considered Tellars to be a worse version of Clown Blade, but looks like the traps made the difference.

Holy shit holy tellars finally drew well and do something
Real. Tellars always feel like they brick in these tournaments

Dragon Rulers vs Spellbooks in the knockout 👀👀👀
Shock Master is a fair and balanced card smile :)

This is basically a backrow mirror match
2nd game is entertaining HOLYshit
A challenger appears?
Fiendsmith musket unchained.
The August Fiendsmith lists are going to be the only tcg lists with lacrima
any reason not to use compulse at 7:43 ? HUH
edit: I know there was a judgment set but still

Buena partidad para no ser un match relevante para las posiciones finales.
Shock master is so toxic
I love teller , next season can we get them with the new support?
The new tellar support didn't top any event right? Or am I missing something? It's probably not worthy to be honest 🤔

Could u do a cross banlist cup but with the decks up to date? For example Satellarknight got support a long time ago...
That wouldn't be cross ban list anymore, it would be current format with bad modern decks 😂😂😂.
