Wow this looks wonderful, honestly - and the AT-ST was always such a stand-out vehicle to be missing from your collection, so it's lovely to see Next up I'm really hoping for a Hailfire Droid, Resistance Bomber, or Kom'rk Mandalorian Starfighter
Excellent model, one of my favorite Star Wars vehicles. I'd love to see this design modified for the First Order AT-ST, I especially like that design with the added armor, modified viewport and darker color scheme.
My favorite part is how you guys didn't forget the extra part of the leg that is what actually connects it to the "body" if you will, leggo always either forgets it or makes a cheater peice to make it look like its there, and I'm glad to finally see it done right in lego
What excites me most about this is the amount of leg pose-ability. The fact that the legs are accurate with the first thigh joint that connects in the proper place. It would be soo cool to create a stop-motion walking animation of this.
@@BrickVault Is it possible that you might soon be able to build your own cool custom versions of spider droids and droidekas and speeders etc. would surely also be great😅😀
06:21 According to the Star Wars Complete cross sections, the AT-ST has holo projectors in the cock pit to show the surrounding area that can't be seen from the physical view ports.
I built the tie defender.. wanted the tie fighter did that one. Just caved and got the rest of the bricks for the at-te. I have been waiting for you to make an atst! Wow!!! I think I will double the part list. I want two! Haha
I would love to see you make some of the Naboo ships (Queens Royal Starship, Naboo Cruiser, Naboo Star Skiff) as well as vehicles from the Clone Wars like the Clone Turbo Tank, AT-OT, AT-AP, AV 7 cannon, Droid Gunship and Hailfire Droid!
We try and make sure our instructions price points are around 5-10% of the total part cost. So if you're planning to buy the parts, the instruction cost should be a minor compared to the parts. Sadly, custom building is expensive and it probably always will be. We do what we can to find a price point that makes the many hours that go into instruction making worth it for us, our designers and the consumer.
Just looking at the handling I can see it's barely holding itself up. If you pose it too much and the parts wear out, friction alone won't be able to hold this model up. I bet if you just leave it on your desk long enough it'll collapse from gravity alone. Looks great though...
I fixed it with a mod, but yea. There's just no way I know to make it fully posable without the ankle part bending and having the whole thing crashing down
This is probably the first Custom chicken walker I've seen that actually looks like a chicken walker. The official lego sets don't come close at all. Might just pick this up
You guys have to do an AT-XT, that clone Walker needs more attention. It is one of the first Star Wars vehicles I recognised ever and loved along side the TX-130. If that’s walker comes then I can sleep easy at night
The most realistic tie pilots would be the newer ones. The ones that fit in the Brick vault mocs are the older ones, because of the short headspace in the cockpits.
I just got finished building it today but to get it in a balanced posing position took forever with pieces flying off constantly, very frustrating. It's def. not as easy as shown in this video. Also some pieces used are quiet rare and expensive can easily have been replaced with cheaper alternatives as they only serve a cosmetic purpose. It's looks nice tho, I'll give it that.
Really good rendition. Brilliant connection joints for the legs. Head looks great plated/cleans up the look a lot. Still really like the Rogue one variant, as it's pretty much an OT version. No interest in the Mandalorian version.
i hope they make a AT-DT in the mear future, it would be cool, tbh idk if there is enough pictures of the walker to know exactly how to make the details
Probably not without a support stand. There are pictures on google showing it in a walking pose with 2 stands, 1 for the foot and 1 for the underside body.
Mmm, I kinda like GolPlaysWithLego's AT-ST better. I prefer the weapons on this one and it looks like you havent used quite so many rare parts, but other than that I think the shaping on Gol's is overall better
Magmafrost13 oh do you have his older version? Honestly I like brick vaults better than gols older model. His new one is really good though in terms of looks
@@CatalystBricks I have version 2.5, and that's the version Im looking at when I say it looks better. I'm not sure wether it's because of some used parts, but I'm having a hard time making the model stand as it should. Usually the head tends to "nod" down a lot due to its weight, I guess. But overall the looks are fantastic. And yes, just for display!
@@cesarlopez9995 thanks for the answer. After watching the video a couple of times, I was able to get it into the right position! But still not so much for play, just for display, but hey, it's okay 😂

Just finished building mine earlier today and it doesn’t want to stay standing, the knee? Joint (top rear joint) keeps collapsing under the weight of the body. Used the joint pieces from the mando version

It's ironic.
its not. i've built it and it can't even get close to standing on its own
@@jackwalker4957 I stood mine up using clear 1 x 2 bricks

Looks more accurate than the videogame versions themselves.
no, it's not. Legs are way too short

The Kom’rk Class Fighter/Gauntlet Starfighter right?
Love the techniques and details. But in my view, it appears the head is too short on the profile view when compared to that ESB clip.
The AT-STs in ESB are a different model than the ones in ROTJ
yes, but still the rotj heads are actually longer than the moc's and the front plate is at a slightly steeper angle than on this version.
