Noosh, Laura, Oz - this was great - I kind of stepped away for a few weeks to avoid the PED and get caught up with work :) But to come back to this wonderful chat about the entire experience was so wholesome! Thank you, for everything.
I share so many of your opinions about the results in general. The only ones that didn't surprise me were Slovenia (I thought they would finish similarly to the Rasmus from last year and The Ark from 2007), and I also think I predicted a couple of the others right, Lithuania was one, and I can't remember the third, but there was a third. I'm gutted with Serbia's result - it was my favourite, as you know, and meeting Luke at Fusion was second in my best moments of the week aside from meeting you three ;)
Love your advice, and I'm considering doing some reactions when next year's contest run-up begins, because I really had so much fun following you all and the Eurovision Tea discussions too, as you know. I don't know how you manage to do it though, it's taken me 3 days to get only half the reels from the Liverpool experience up, so it takes a lot of hard work to do and you're stars for putting out so much content throughout this season.
For now, hope you've managed to get some rest, recover and wishing you all the best - if you're ever in Belgium let me know so we can grab a drink and reminisce.
I know how much hard work you all put in to reflect to everyone the atmosphere, and to see you having so much fun while doing so was great. Thanks again and big hugs to all of you!

As a Brit living in the US like you Noosh and a huge Eurovision fan, I was disappointed I couldn’t make it over to Liverpool but watching you all there was great and made me feel almost like I was there. Thank you! Hoping to get over to Sweden next year 😀

Lovely video, you are all amazing 😊 *insert a long rant* I'm not mad or angry BUT i think that this years Eurovision was a perfect example of what is wrong with the jury and most people are fuming because of it.
This is not the first year where the jury's opinion weighs more than the publics and it kinda sucks.
Why am i spending money to vote if my vote doesn't really matter? The fans are the ones who keep the Eurovision alive, without us there would not be Eurovision. I also don't think that we should get rid of the jury, but to lower their power. 185 (?) "professionals" opinion shouldn't over power the opinion of thousands if millions of people.
In Finland UMK system, the public vote weighs 75% and jury's 25% and i think that is how it should be, or something similar. Jury definitely should have saying, but not the ultimate saying. That's one of the reason why there is so much variety of styles performances that Finland has send because the public usually wants to send something different and unique and not the usual mega produced pop songs. That is what Eurovision should be about! Variety of genres and styles, indroducing the masses of Europe to different music than they might be used to. I am not saying that Loreen was bad or didn't deserve it, but something wasn't right this year.
Also want to add: televote was shocking also this year.

THe public vote is 50%, and the jury 50%. So I don't get how the jury weighs more than the public.

Albania was top 10 I think televote fairly voted them but I did expect at least 100 points but what was really akward was the jury vote which Albania always gets specially Swiss , Italy . Which was 0 this time so it was for me Agenda not to point them .

personally dont mind the results. However the hate should actually be on the audience/fans because its DISGUSTING AND VILE for the fans to pump/hype on Loreen at Melodi NF's and was the best decision out of the last of the heats but then entirely trash Loreen at the Grand Final of ESC. Its horribly SICK! IF Tattoo was soooo horrible then why did so many in Sweden vote for it? Its not as if Loreen FORCED people to vote for her. In fact, she could have repeated her failed attempt like how Statements was voted. Additionally, every year theres gonna be some absolute madness of why the public thought another song should have won. Often those 2nd and 3rd place songs get popular more than the winner so why be upset over the fact that the winner is just the public's way of having bragging rights and really doesn't affect the artist all too much. Loreen is tired and even said she didn't party afterwards. I think blaming her for what the public wind up doing is awful. even if people want to blame the jury vote, THAT'S STILL NOT HER FAULT.

I did not like Ukraine's song this year.... Their place in the final is Pure political cause 😂 no matter how hard we try to avoid mentioning political thing, but actually Eurovision is a musical, political, economical thing, only the blind cannot see it or ignorant don't want to hear it 😮
