It‘s not like Matt is just a bad peformer or singer. On this one, I agree, but anway since sometime now, it doesn’t feel right with him being the lead vocalist for TDG anymore. Listen to his former band, My Darkest Days and their two released albums. Every song on those albums sounds damn good. You can‘t replace a lead singer that easy, it just won‘t work.
I swear, you people need to stop hating on Matt. I get he's not Adam, but that doesn't make the band any less amazing. You don't have to like him, but you shouldn't constantly bash him because he's not Adam. Adam moved on, and is probably never coming back. Matt is one of the reasons TDG is still alive. It's time to move on
Sergey Baskakov, it can be hard for someone to sing a song on par with the original. Matt cant sing songs Adam wrote as good, and Adam wouldnt be able to sing songs Matt wrote as good
Weird to see all the hate for Matt....he was around from the beginning co-writing since the first album....I'm happy to see him finally get some success after struggling through the My Darkest Days period....hopefully they will evolve their sound and Matt wont be so cringeworthy when he talks between songs!
I agree with that no one can replace Adam but I think no one would be better than Matt. He was with the band from the beginning and everyone can hear that his voice has improved very very much. I heard them live and I can tell that they're fucking amazing
Guys, as a recent fan of this band, I have 2 things that I want to clear up. N°1 Everyone meets this band through Adam's most famous tracks with TDG (it's obvious, One X is the signature album of their catalogue). N°2 Matt tries not to copy Adam at all (I've heard he's the karaoke version of Adam when he recently joined the band, that was hillarious) In the end, TDG still around thanks to us, to their fanbase, trying to keep in touch with their original supporters and bring new masses. They're trying Metalcore which is a great way to stay relevant these days and Adam said himself he's fixed his friendship with them, he's with Saint Asonia (which is amazingly good, you can see he is comfortable) and TDG still has the chemistry they've showed in their early days. We don't want them to dissapear, Outsider was a good album, I can't wait for them to release new songs.
I remember going to a concert in Toronto for a youth conference. One of the most touching things that i saw that involved the mosh pit was a small child (he had to be no older than ten. Probably a youth pastor's kid or something) was enjoying the band when all of a sudden a mosh pit opened up right around him. Now this might just be because we're Canadian and we're nice but two teens in the mosh pit immediately put the kid on their shoulders to protect him from the moshers. I happened to see them later and asked why they did that. they're response was "We noticed a kid in the mosh pit area. We thought he had never been to a concert before and didn't know what was going on. So we grabbed him and told him to get up on our shoulders" that show was an hour long so kudos to the boys for keeping a ten year old on their shoulders that entire time!
This band like a lot of bands are not going anywhere without the original singer, if they continue, they will be banished to playing small venues before long, sad I know, but people usually will not be too accepting of a different singer, when the original is still around!!!!
Steve Ponder And that’s why 5 out of the 8 singles they’ve released so far have been #1’s right? With 2 of the other 3 charting in the top 5? That’s why every single off the new album has went #1? Lmao give it a break dude. It’s been 7 years since Adam left come December, and they’re still going incredibly strong, with millions of views on every music video they’ve released since. You want Adam so badly? Go check out Saint Asonia and leave these hard working gentlemen alone

End of story.
No he hasn't done a decent job replicating his voice at all actually. He may be a good singer, but that's one thing he most definitely did not do here.

Joakim Engeset None of their songs since I Am Machine are mosh pit worthy. It just doesn’t work. Not like it does with Riot and Animal I Have Become and stuff like that.
It's weird 😂 they're not a heavy band... Why does he want people moshing haha
thanks for the upload! I was looking for a high quality live performance and I couldn't find any!
Just saw them couple days ago. New singer was great. They put on a good show 🤘
New singer at this point Matt is more known then adam lol
Kc king of pickles Audis nah I’d have to disagree. Adam has way more followers than matt or any of the other tdg members

I’ve loved this band since 2004, and the 2014-present day era is actually my favorite at this point. There’s versions of The High Road, Chalk Outline, Riot, and Animal I Have Become which just have Matt’s voice dubbed in and for the last few years those have been my go to versions of those songs.

New Guy: Star Lord, man.

Guys please both of them are gods
Adam better
Adam is better in live concerts, matt uses a lot of autotune and so a lor of people don't like his Real voice
TheShadows OfZED Matt has to force everything he can’t sing well
It‘s not like Matt is just a bad peformer or singer.
Wait, Matt was My Darkest Days' singer!? Holy crap I never realized that.
@@dylanlevesque1689 yeah, he was.
That Bon Jovi intro. Awesome!
Also, take a shot for every time Matt tells the crowd to start a circle pit.
17:15 MAN THAT SCREAM WAS FUCKING EPIC
36:11 Nice choice grandpa
It’s a PHENOMENAL choice
I swear, you people need to stop hating on Matt. I get he's not Adam, but that doesn't make the band any less amazing. You don't have to like him, but you shouldn't constantly bash him because he's not Adam. Adam moved on, and is probably never coming back. Matt is one of the reasons TDG is still alive. It's time to move on
Thank you samic
You're right but how he sang their old songs... it was really bad because he sang past the notes, especially "Never Too Late"
vocal like karaoke 😂 ... adam is better
Sergey Baskakov, it can be hard for someone to sing a song on par with the original. Matt cant sing songs Adam wrote as good, and Adam wouldnt be able to sing songs Matt wrote as good
Nah just not the same bro, this isn’t 3DG, this is a fluke, saint asonia is the real 3DG now. 3DG will never be the same without Adam
Weird to see all the hate for Matt....he was around from the beginning co-writing since the first album....I'm happy to see him finally get some success after struggling through the My Darkest Days period....hopefully they will evolve their sound and Matt wont be so cringeworthy when he talks between songs!
15:10 it is the best Matt's scream ever
I just hope Matt’s vocals improve over time. Don’t get me wrong, he’s come a long way since he joined the band in 2013.
Thank you so much for this lmao, i watched this atleast 3 times. more to come
What an amazing setlist 😍🖤🤘🤘
People should stop hating on him. His voice is great, and in live his voice is really insane
Matt sounds like hed be really good in a metalcore or deathcore band. But he doesnt fit 3DG for me. I guess no one can ever replace Adam.
I agree with that no one can replace Adam but I think no one would be better than Matt. He was with the band from the beginning and everyone can hear that his voice has improved very very much. I heard them live and I can tell that they're fucking amazing
jsk8drummer Metalcore yes but not deathcore
I think that I could replace adam
Maybe metalcore, but not deathcore. He can do some screams, but he can’t do them well enough for deathcore.

Love 3DG from Bangladesh ❤
He turned the band into a metalcore band and that's great.
@Snake you mean BMTH?
Guys, as a recent fan of this band, I have 2 things that I want to clear up.
N°1 Everyone meets this band through Adam's most famous tracks with TDG (it's obvious, One X is the signature album of their catalogue).
N°2 Matt tries not to copy Adam at all (I've heard he's the karaoke version of Adam when he recently joined the band, that was hillarious)
In the end, TDG still around thanks to us, to their fanbase, trying to keep in touch with their original supporters and bring new masses.
I love this band so much,
Always will.❤

@@Allybrumley663 okay! Thanks for letting me know!
Gran presentación. Matt estuvo increible, genial.
Matt is a Great vocalist🔥🔥🔥
This band like a lot of bands are not going anywhere without the original singer, if they continue, they will be banished to playing small venues before long, sad I know, but people usually will not be too accepting of a different singer, when the original is still around!!!!
Steve Ponder i don’t even like this band but bro they’ve been doin better since Adam left. They’ve had like 3 number one singles man
Steve Ponder And that’s why 5 out of the 8 singles they’ve released so far have been #1’s right? With 2 of the other 3 charting in the top 5? That’s why every single off the new album has went #1? Lmao give it a break dude. It’s been 7 years since Adam left come December, and they’re still going incredibly strong, with millions of views on every music video they’ve released since. You want Adam so badly? Go check out Saint Asonia and leave these hard working gentlemen alone
According for what ur saying....Adam must die to give credit to the new singer? Sad but maybe true

Matt has come a long way and has improved. For those people saying “Adam is better”, you’re an idiot. Clearly Adam is gonna sound like himself more than someone else. Matt has done a decent job replicating Adam’s unique voice. Three Days Grace wrote the songs, not Adam. The crowd wants to hear old songs too. Aka their hits. Adam is gone and Matt is there now. End of story.
Adam did write the songs not just tdg. And yes Adam is better. Adam isn’t gone he’s in a better band now
No he hasn't done a decent job replicating his voice at all actually. He may be a good singer, but that's one thing he most definitely did not do here.
Kind Old Raven exactly. He is honestly terrible at Adams songs while he’s way better at his own.
Steve MacDougall no replication going on here what so ever lol. This is just a mediocre vocalist. Maybe just a bad performance
saying three days grace shouldnt [play the old songs because adam wrote them is like saying kirk hammet shouldnt play metallicas old riffs because dave mustain wrote them
There’s a difference between a guitar riff and a persons voice tho
@@toadfrommario943 And also the fact that a lot of the shit that Adam wrote is very personal shit. Adam in the past has shown annoyance at Matt singing his songs and I don't blame him if he still feels that way

It's a shame I never got to see them in concert while Adam was lead. F
No one will ever replace Adam Gontier, his vocals are one of a kind, although Matt did a great job here in my opinion. The only complaint I have is that since Adam left, the band hasn't been writing nearly as many catchy songs as before. I've listened to the new albums etc. and it just doesn't have that edge, Adam's the better songwriter. There are better vocalists out there for 3DG, although Matt's pretty good overall!
