About Wohlfühlhof
Wohlfühlhof Zeh is a non-profit sanctuary for animals, where former dairy cows are given a species-appropriate, peaceful, and suffering-free life. Located in the beautiful Allgäu region, not far from Kempten, over 60 animals currently live on Wohlfühlhof, where they can spend the rest of their lives under our respectful and safe care. Our animals don't need to serve any purpose or prove their worth to have a right to exist in this world. They are simply allowed to be animals, enjoying their lives-just like humans do.
Wohlfühlhof Zeh was founded in 2014 by Hans-Peter Zeh. Originally, it was a dairy farm that Hans-Peter took over from his father, running it as the third generation. The term "livestock farming"-even just the term itself-troubled Hans-Peter throughout his life until he decided to leave the business of exploiting his animals.
