- To protect our cows from the heat on particularly hot days, they stay safely in our open stable. Since they cannot graze in the pasture during this time, we treat them to our hay in the morning and our own silage in the afternoon - straight from our meadows, which we mow several times a year. 🌾
Our silage is particularly valuable because it contains a variety of healthy herbs, such as dandelion and plantain. These herbs are not only tasty but also rich in vitamins and minerals that strengthen our cows' immune system and promote their digestion. 🌿
Dandelion has diuretic and detoxifying properties, while plantain is anti-inflammatory and expectorant. This natural power blend ensures that our animals are well cared for even on hot days. 💪🐄
We always make sure that our cows receive the best nutrition - for their health and well-being.

The Wohlfühlhof Zeh is a non-profit sanctuary for animals, providing former dairy cows with a natural, peaceful, and cruelty-free life. Located in the beautiful Allgäu region, not far from Kempten, the sanctuary is currently home to over 60 animals who can spend the rest of their lives in a respectful and safe environment. Our animals are not required to serve any purpose or prove their right to exist in this world. They are simply allowed to be themselves, enjoying their lives-just like humans do.
Wohlfühlhof Zeh was founded in 2014 by Hans-Peter Zeh. Originally, it was a dairy farm that Hans-Peter inherited from his father, continuing in the third generation. The concept of "livestock farming"-even the term itself-troubled Hans-Peter throughout his life until he decided to step away from the business of exploiting animals.

Prima dass Eure Silage nicht aussieht wie das übliche gammliges Zeugs und bestimmt riecht‘s auch nicht so wie die übliche Silage. Eure Kühe und anderen Tiere haben es Gott sei Dank wirklich gut bei Euch. Bitte krault Eure Mietzen von mir und Danke für alles☘️💫🍀☺️
