Just did all four of mine in about 1 hour. Great video tutorial. Only change was I didn't find a need to remove all the plugs. I just let the door panel hang out of the way of the speakers. But showing all those steps is advantageous to those wanting to do a complete removal.
Same here. I just let the panel kind of dangle and rest towards to the bottom of the door. Takes the 30 secs to replace the speaker with these connector adapter. Easiest sound upgrade ever lol.
Just wanted to add - make sure the speaker wires, with the added pigtail plugs, don't get snagged by the window when you roll it down. The first time I rolled the rear windows down it yanked the wires off of both speakers. I ended up re-routing the wires and tie-wrapping them in place.
