I bought that YN360 a while ago and love it. I didnt set up the BT controls since the access the app was requesting seemed a bit excessive. Did you have any concerns about the access?
It does, I should have mentioned that. I always use it with light stand. You can actually see it here in this video BTS: ruclips.net/video/VViUUjVuiUE/видео.html
Could anyone please help me? I bought two *t15 Quaser science lights and I think I burnt them(2 of them) I live in the UK so the plugs 🔌 are different. I used adapter but the lights worked for like two secs and I think they got burnt! Anyone can help please??*
Excellent video! Not only are you a great presenter, but you covered a much wider array of lighting choices, many of which I didn't even know existed. Thanks for inspiring the aspiring filmmaker in me!
hello. I have two of them and when I turn on, both start in the same color, if I change RGB in one, the other one change too, there's some problem on sync. I dont know how to solve it. Did you have any problem?
How filmmaking is changing over a year is amazing. FIlm equipment has become like painting canvas and brush. Anyone with lots of interest and little money can make a great painting (almost ). End of the day it will all come to storytelling.we have everything equipment/resource /exhibition ...just need stories
I am looking for the large and powerful ones that are battery-operated for work on my car in the low light and for my large public storage cell, which has no electricity in there. Those lanterns are supposed to be battery-operated and magnetic, which is a must, so I could stick it to any magnet-friendly surface. So this YONGNUO you mentioned seems to be a good candidate.
good reviews ...focusing on the cost adaptability and functionality ....liked the little pocket lights...These tube lights are a thing for djs and photograhers but some companies are really overcharging like thousands for these which is stupid ....If you dont mind plugging in i got some equinox spectra pix battons for a few hundred that are actually better looking ...
Great! Also, I just found those garden lights washers... 25 bucks each, RGB *and* daylight balanced, 100+ colors (!!!), comes with a remote controller (dude), unkillable battery (meant to be put in a garden and left there basically), IP-66 waterproof (talking to your outdoorsy people!) :O What's not to like??? They're very bright, can be easily hang of off things are they meant to... 25 bucks... if those are flicker-free...!!!
That's because this whole video was based around the aperture light. Biassed content. These lights have been so obviously passed around all the youtubers
Good review on a variety of affordable options. The Quasar tubes are really nice, high quality light. Their bi-color tubes are expensive ($275 for 4' version), but a popular choice. I'm hoping an equivalent knock-off comes to market soon. The new Aputure MX is more expensive ($150) than the M9, but has somewhat greater light output.
Omg your amazing? Any recommendations for best light set up for beauty videos? Using Sony A6400 whether led or softbox? Also what lens work best with Sony a6400 for beauty also and blurred background. Thank you
Hey great video! I have the Yongnuo. In fact, I have two of them. I have to be honest I haven't used either of them in years. I had both connected to my phone and both were still working through the phone app when I turned them on today (batteries stay charged forever) but then I messed around with them and now only one works though my phone app (iPhone). It's really weird because when the screen on one goes out, if I turn the knob or press the button, the screen on both lights turn on. So I know in some way they are both still connected. I just can only control one with my phone. Any ideas on how to get the other one to connect to my phone again? Update: I now see both are connected but on separate channels. One is on 1 and the other is on 6. Any idea how to get them grouped again?
This was an awesome video. Very educational as well. I found your channel by luck. But I'm so glad that I did.. I love the first, & last light. I have a few ideas. To help light up my Mancave. you sir have a new subscriber. Keep up the great work..
Kino Flo are awesome in terms of quality but require a ballast and are not dimmable. Which means for a similar bank setup of say 4 you'll be paying 5x more.
Indeed it is, and your lighting shows the addition pays off in very positives ways! :-) Thanks again, and I'll be waiting for youtube to notify me when you post again. :)
Hey Armando great Video! I actually watched it a few months ago, but I'm now planning to buy the Youngnouo N360 Light. Question: Do you know if the Sony np f 970 batteries work with it? (because I already have two of them) Many thanks in advance :)
Hey Armando, your Quasar link in your description is dead. Just letting you know so you don't miss out on more monetization form from your affiliate link. Great video buddy!
Wow I just LOVED this video, it's just what I was looking for! I need a source of light at sunset time for my senior sessions... I will also use the light with fairy strings :) I was sold on the YONGNUO but I also like the VILTROX you introduced today. So, my question is: which one you would recommend for sunset time to light model's upper body with nice soft light? YONGNUO or VILTROX?
Which one was your favorite light?
I bought that YN360 a while ago and love it. I didnt set up the BT controls since the access the app was requesting seemed a bit excessive. Did you have any concerns about the access?
I use it on my iPhone so it doesn't request anything.
That Aputure is amazing, I hate packing heavy and love small lights
Armando Ferreira the fluorescent tube looking one, would fit just right. Thanks for showing.
Whats the name of the adapter for the LED tube I can find it online and I have a bunch of LED tube lights sitting around my house.
My hands are rubbing together as I’m watching this, sooo many ideas brewing. Amazing video man.
Does the Yongnuo have any mounting points? Quarter 20?
It does, I should have mentioned that. I always use it with light stand. You can actually see it here in this video BTS: ruclips.net/video/VViUUjVuiUE/видео.html
YCImaging lmaooo. Picturing you looking like a mischievous villain

I want them all!
40 seconds in and we already have specific recommendations. That's the way to make a video. Subscribed.
Excellent video! Not only are you a great presenter, but you covered a much wider array of lighting choices, many of which I didn't even know existed. Thanks for inspiring the aspiring filmmaker in me!
Jeff McCaskill thanks for watching!

my YN360 shuts off after 30-60 seconds. Is there a certain button I need to push to keep this light going? HELP!
Awesome video!!!! So in depth... I have been looking into better lighting to get my videos nicer. This hit the spot
Glad you enjoyed it
In the first light you showed, how do you mount it? I would like to see a video different ways to mount on a light stand or boom
I have that yunguo light. It's awesome

Farhal Ali thanks man I appreciate that, still learning and experimenting with every video.
Armando Ferreira my pleasure!
Great Video! I need that small aperture light!
They're awesome!
Those Quasar lights are amazing and super inexpensive. Have you tried the Kino Flo setup? They're great!
Kino Flo are awesome in terms of quality but require a ballast and are not dimmable. Which means for a similar bank setup of say 4 you'll be paying 5x more.
Oh, sorry, I mean the Quasar Kino Flo mod. You use the Quasar lights instead. Super cheap, same great Quasar lights :)
This Is Tech Today oh yeah, it's awesome! I'm sure Kino Flo doesn't like that lol!
Excellent review and good variety!
The second one is the best
I recommend you get the dimmer switch....... so you can dim it down, wow genius!....Do they do a dummer switch?
More videos like this! Loving the camera videos!

Thank you so much this was super helpful
Hi Mate! I was wondering, what light are you using for your key light?? It looks great! Love the lights you've used in the background- very nice.
Love the fairy lights and the viltrox. There should be more lights this size that can use a USB power bank.
Awesome review ! First time watching your videos and I like your energy. (Forest Gump voice) I think I’ll sub, now.
Great ideas! Thanks
Hey Armando great Video! I actually watched it a few months ago, but I'm now planning to buy the Youngnouo N360 Light. Question: Do you know if the Sony np f 970 batteries work with it? (because I already have two of them)
