10:22 "Don't be afraid to say no", every time you say no to something that doesn't align with your goals, you're saying yes to your own growth. 💪👏

Yes, you is important too. Be kind, recognize those who take advantage of you in a malicious way, stop catering to them.

I love how you made Stoicism so accessible! The example at [3:15] about Marcus Aurelius and how he dealt with adversity was powerful. I can totally apply that to my own life."

Such a valuable lesson! It’s important to know when to set limits and protect ourselves, even if it means not always being kind in the way others expect. Stoicism helps us focus on what’s truly best for our well-being.

Good eye opener..despite Bible requiring us to live for others.and.not for ourselves..putting others interests first ahead before ours..attaining true joy in giving more than receiving..be kind to others ..etc etc..At the same time..the philosophy of the world says things like..Dont make urself a tool for the benefit of tothers..dont let people take advantage of ur kindness..dont be too lenient..its not the phase of time now to do good to others..same time it also says..be a
ladder to build others..People see God in u when u r kind to others..etc etc..Whateverit is..especially whenever it comes to relationships..we tend to feel drained and disappointed too when our kindness are not valued as far as feelings and emotions are concerned..and we are always on the giving side..yet not receiving anything in return..When our intentions are genuine where we dont expect others to reciprocate to our kindness..we are least or not disappointed at all..i suppose..Anyway..learnt something useful and challenging to be more disciplined rather than being too accomodating..Thanks for ur tips..

Old news to mothers and "housewives" but excellent advice for them and empaths everywhere. The title appears to dismiss the validity of the great virtue of kindness, but this impressive content belies that. Deep dive into how and why to handle a generous nature in a predatory world. A very beneficial read. Thanks.

I appreciate your thoughtful perspective! It’s true that kindness can sometimes be overlooked, but it’s essential to explore how we can navigate the world while staying true to our generous nature.

Wow, this video really challenges the way we usually think about kindness. The idea that kindness, when misunderstood or misapplied, could lead to unintended consequences feels so counterintuitive but eye-opening. It's a reminder to approach life with wisdom, balance, and discernment, as the Stoics teach. Practicing kindness without losing sight of self-respect and boundaries is definitely a lesson worth mastering. Amazing content-this is Stoic philosophy at its finest!
