No spoilers. Ive played it first run took my time ended on apocalypse with 13hrs. Was a great addition to arguably the best world. You get so much for $10 during a time when consumers nickle and dime us with micro transactions. This was a pleasant change far above my expectations definitely recommend playing it. ❤
Funny thing in the One Shot, theres 2 of the same building with the guy that just yells "wake up" at you. If you did the one at the start of the playthrough then try to do it again the second guy just screams "WAKE UPPPPPP" and then you get softlocked lmao

The Ultimate Edition includes the Awakened King and the two other planned DLC, and costs just a smidge less than the base game when it's not on sale. Any advice on the value of the different editions compared to each other?
It's a great game and the developers listen to the community and implement quickly. community is one of the best on discord I think. Very low % of a holes with lots of people happy to help you get the stuff you need for your build. Can't wait to jump back in.
You shouldn’t be comparing lords to remnant. They are in the same basic umbrella of “souls like”, but that’s where the similarities end. Even with its flaws lords was fun for me and I think some of the negative criticism is just gamers being salty.
I am currently torn between which "new" game I want to purchase. It's between Lies of P, LotF and Remnant 2. If anyone can help my decision I would appreciate it.
Never seen someone more lost than you, "my first playthrough took 6h 2nd 4h and felt like I barely scratch the surface" Than proceed to say if you just want to go for the story and play it once I encourage waiting for a sell... its 10$ do you realize how ridiculous of a price tag it is? If people start recommending to wait for a sell for content like this offered at 10$ they really cant win and should just raise the price to 25$ wtf is this L take.
Is anyone having issues since the patch where they can't connect co op with friends but can connect to random.non friend games. Never had an issue till the patch. So pissed. Ps5
Pretty good DLC, keep in mind you only get around 4 hours of new content and that's with exploring the entire map/side areas, but it's a fun DLC. I can see why it has a mixed rating on Steam though, because unfortunately a lot of areas are just rehashed from the main game with the exact same enemies. And the whole subplot with the Awakened King literally doesn't get explained at all, you just defeat him and the DLC is over without a cutscene or NPC explaining anything about who actually attacked him.
I was so pumped to play it yesterday at launch but with the multiplayer being bugged my friends couldnt join me. Wont be touching it til they fix it, still pumped for it
I don't want to farm Losomn anymore... the fact you can't just select this campaign after one play through is insane expecting us to farm old losomn zones

Well, every world had a class, and one world was missing their class which was archon. This is one area and it has a class in it, so I think it’s safe to say it’s just one
@rayosborne8617 it was hidden though and had to be data mined. Now everyone got it because they know how. Im sure there a few secrets in the DLC area that will pop up later
For 10 dollars its....ok. It's what you would expect from a dlc of this kind where you're getting a new location. What I like is you get to go through the new story in a "one shot adventure" and then it all just gets randomized into the main game. What the DLC does really sell is the lore building of the dran, and the new class is great for using an entirely different way to play. I'm expecting that all of the remaining DLC's will also be a third path for N'erud and Yaesha where you get the "true" ending which I'm sure will some how tie into the games true ending after the cliffhanger

Be careful on Xbox I went through the first area and just completed the second just for my game to crash and now I can not log into my account, I can still access the game up to the point of actually logging in but as the game is loading it just sends me to the xbox home screen.
I love having my apocalypse difficulty sword i know when other people cheesed the final boss if their achievement is before the date of the patches lol i know not all are like that but unfortunately its going to be assumed so dont overdue ot on cheese lol.
So the new trait cap is 85 🙄😒. Good grief, just get rid of it altogether already. As much as im enjoying tje game (over 120 hrs wo far) the trait cap is severely hampering my enjoyment of this game. If people want to have specific builds and trait limits, let them do that on their own. None of the dark soul games or souls like put caps on leveling up so i dont know why they insist on doing it with this one but slowly caving in by increasing it.
i am one of the few people that honestly found no joy in part 2, i went to reddit and asked, and i was amazed that a few people shared my opinion, i simply adored part 1, and i was so happy about part 2 but then i played it, 0 fun for me. i know it is not a bad game, but i can't enjoy it for some reason. on the other hand, i fell in love with LIES OF P and found LORDS OF THE FALLEN incredibly charming in a DARK SOULS 2 kind of way. Lies of P is almost platinum and finished 1 run of Lords of the fallen, and this game ? i am barely in world 3 and can't find the energy to continur.

Yea, hold off on buying it for the Xbox, it’s been crashing like crazy for me all day, I’ve had to close the game and uninstall the dlc countless times, it’s just unacceptable.
I was honestly of the impression that while Nimue did help the Traitor in getting to the King, I figured she also tricked the traitor by rendering the OTK asleep rather than dead. My thinking was that the Root infected the OTK and Nimue could sense something was afoul. So by putting him asleep, maybe she did this in hopes to holding the Root back but also at the risk of creating a conjunction between the Dran and Fae realms - which was unintended. Kind of bummed it didn't really pan out like that. All his benevolence and he wakes up as a giant grumpy-baby.
Pretty dissapointed by the DLC. I loved the game, but this felt like a 3 hour lackluster reskin. Nothing about the world is new, and all the mini boss fights are pretty lame. The end boss was nice, but eh. Even if its just 10$, i dont think it was worth it. Was missing so much.
Gotta love all the people here thinking this is some of the best content they've seen in a while, complety disreguarding the fact its cut content from the original game that they are now having to pay extra for lol
it's not cut content, it's additional content that they planned to roll out post launch. This wasn't in the base game and just hidden away behind a pay wall

It took you 2 weeks to do everything? Realistically thats a pretty long time, there are 336 hours in two weeks total. I get you werent playing for 336 hours straight but still, that is a generous window to get everything done in practically any game, even longer games usually have completionist times of like 150-200 hours
I've played through this thing like 6 times up to nightmare difficulty, have gotten same areas over & over & very few guns...huge problem. Big disappointment, 1st game was better. Hope this dlc will help.
I also felt like the first game was better, particularly when it came to finding lots of guns without needing to use a wiki because that’s how convoluted some of the puzzles are.
Clearly you either dont look around or are lying. I did 1 campaign and 1 adventure for each of the worlds for the second quests and i ended up pretty stacked in terms of guns.

How do you access the dlc? I downloaded it and haven't rerolled my completed campaign, but i dont see it anywhere even in adventure

Re-roll campaign, pick awakened king.
Refresh steam log out and back in i had to do that to have the DLC work

No, they optimized the game quite a bit but I go from 120 on other maps to around 70-90fps on the new ones
