if i remember correctly it was a swedish gentleman who bought that car, saw that he asked for help on how to import a car from the US to Sweden in 'saab turbo club of sweden' on facebook. Bringing back this beauty to the motherland
You are correct :D
Wow that’s super cool!
My how times have changed that 60K miles is considered low mileage now.
Haha, it definitely is for a Saab!
And now there's another one on Cars and bids. 83k miles 9-5 Aero. (OG)
I'm shocked seeing it go for 6k, mine has the same options and 5spd but I got it for $2200 with 89k miles in March. Shocked how much they are going for now.
Wow nice. I missed that one :(
Saab did convertible soft tops the best, the navy blue one in this video looks incredible as well as the rear tail lights against the exterior color, I think you said it's called snowflake metallic. 63k miles is really not bad at all. I like these Saab auction bids, thank you for sharing Jacob 🙂.
Agree! They’re gorgeous. Thanks
Hi Auto A. Great vid. Keep them coming. I have a 2008 9-3 sedan in nocturn blue with 48k orig miles in great shape. I have had people come up to me in parking lots asking if I would sell it. I say no. These cars seem to have a loyal following😊
Haha nice :)
Wow! Didn't know L06 seats were available for MY2009. Always thought they were available only for MY2006-2008. Seth only couple of MY2008 with L06.
Ours is MY2007 (the last manufacturing month 7/2007) with L06 seats.
The reason they never facelifted the sides of NG9-3CV is that volumes of manufactured cars were pretty small compared to NG9-3 SS/SC. The front of NG9-3SS and NG9-3CV are similar up to A pillar and as far as I remember, the rear bumpers are also interchangeable. But the sides of NG9-3CV are unique. Considering the cost of updating the sides of NG9-3CV it was not worth the effort.
IMO facelifted NG9-3 looks better but NG9-3CV makes the exception because there are side strips but the bumpers don't have them anymore. That's why we have last months MY2007.
Yeah, I get why the did it I just wish they would have updated it haha 😂
Sold to One in Sweden.
👍🏼👍🏼
Hi. I did own a 93 convertible and owned it for 10 years. Recently I bought a 2010 saab 93 Vector convertible. Automatic, 5 speed. The car in the auction is great. For me in the Netherlands a bargain. Such a car costs over here at least 20.000 euro. My question: I was told 6 speed automatic was not an option until 2011. Is that correct? And is the 6 speed an advantage in comparison to the 5 speed? Love your videos, keep on the good work. Gr. Edwin
Wow! Yeah I have hardly seen any 2.0’s with a 6 speed auto, so I’m not sure what year they implemented that in
This 9-3's gorgeous w/the blue top, though I'd prefer MT. These vids give me FOMO, so I can only imagine how the $10k bidder feels.
Haha yeah 😬😅
After learning about GMs involvement in SAAB, GM probably didn’t approve the change of rub strips to the newer 08+ SS style doors. I think the verts were already priced higher than the Sedans. So they probably felt the refreshed front and rear was enough to justify the cost. Idk. Makes me mad thinking about how GM told them to change the body and the badges, nothing else. I applaud SAAB for trying to stick to their values.
Makes sense, it’s a shame 🤦🏻♂️
hey man! is it normal for a saab 2005 2.0T to have a rough idle at cold start? it starts fine but then its like its about to die before it kicks upp the rpm and then its good
just bought the car from a dealer and it didnt do it at first, then when i pointed it out a week later they said its normal and nothing wrong.
Interesting. That’s odd. Maybe you have a vacuum leak somewhere?
@@AutoAutopsy i thought about that but wouldent it do the same when its not cold? it dosent even need to be warm for it to not do that, just have a bit more heat then outside weather
Any recommendations for an exhaust setup on my 2007 93 aero?
Krona
@@AutoAutopsy so expensive but worth it for that sound
This literally makes me want to sell mine 😂 shit!
Haha
