What a wild ride. How did your team fare against Cynthia?
Definitely a fan of how they gave all of the members competitive movesets
Mine did fine, managed to set up on spiritomb with scizor, they should add more competitive teams to important trainers in the future
What I love about Abomasnow is the "Snow Warning" and it gives Blizzard 100 Accuracy.
Great run, but I have to say, I’ve watched you for many years and you always call it early when something bad happens and that’s quite a bummer. Happy for you at the end tho!
I didnt want to set up on Cynthia bc it felt cheap but her Garchomp set up an SD bc the yache berry weakened my ice beam & it reverse-swept my entire time of level 70s lmao
It's very refreshing to see important trainers uhhh actually have competitive teams and AI. Hopefully they keep this up in the future.

@@vrj97 Grass/Ice is one of the worst defensive types in the game. You have a whopping 7 weaknesses, including the 4x to fire, and 7 more types hit you for neutral.

It's supposed to be offset by the fact that the opponents are more difficult.

Poison types hit Toxic 100% other types hit it at 75% or something like that.

@@aarongutierrez7705 No your right about the 90% I haven't played in a while, however if a poison type uses it the opponent can't avoid it.
I was ready for the wipe. I had accepted fate. And when all hope was lost… Frosted Wheats saved us. Respect for abamasnow after this 📈📈📈
Probably would've gone better if Gyarados was kept in the wings. It can set up on Milotic much easier than Spiritomb (just have to watch for potential Scald burns but she usually seems to go for Ice Beam since it does more damage) though even with +6 the Milotic and Gastrodon don't go down in a single hit from Crunch. But this was amazing and makes for better content.

I swept with houndoom. Used flame charge once on spiritomb, two nasty plots on spiritomb, then dark pulse and flamethrower for the win. Wiped my first time I fought her though because I forgot how insane that garchomp is
My first run at BD decided to do a Nuzlocke. Had a very similar team to the one you are rocking and right before the E4 I lost my Abomasnow... And with it, my chances of beating the E4. Got to Cynthia with 3 mons.
This just solidifies my belief of Abomasnow is truly the GoaT of this gen
Watched this on the stream and just rewatched the RUclips video. I felt a lot more anxiety on the stream although not sure if I didn’t feel the anxiety as much because I knew the outcome or if it was because the edit. Either way great run man. Can’t wait until the next one!

I wasn't expecting the BDSP Cynthia to be so ballin' I ended up having to wall Milotic with Empoleon and, for the first time in my entire life, used X Sp Attack and X Speed to sweep the rest of her team.

I was a doubter the entire E4, but the Abomasnow was clutch and turned all the doubters to believers

I almost punched my screen when you didn't use Ice Punch because I knew you would live a low roll with Aurora Veil. Super lucky you got that high roll on Ice Shard.
GG Haydunn! Didn’t see that one coming. Could barely beat Cynthias Spirittomb and ultimately got bodied by her. XD but I started with my team at lvl 61. Probably under leveled. Anyway, I guess this calls for another commemorative piece, doesn’t it?
Yeah. You were underlevelled. You at least need to be around the mid 60's and also have a team prepared with her in mind. Learned that the hard way the first time. If you want easy wins, X items and some Full Restores are an answer but I'd rather the challenge. After a wipe, I sort of cheesed the first win with X items and swept with Garchomp.

I put off finishing this game until literally a few days ago lol. When I got to Cynthia I was under levelled because I avoided as many trainers as possible and I had a really unbalanced team. I didn't have any fairy type anything. I did have a gyarados and a staraptor. So when I got to her garchomp my plan was to use the rest of my team as death fodder and abuse intimidate lmao. It worked.

I lead with Blissey against the Spiritomb, spammed calm mind as she kept shadowballing and trying to sucker punch... swept the whole team.
I tried doing the same thing with Togekiss only for Milotic to live on 1HP, Mirror Coat, die and then Garchomp came in and ended the rest of my team lol
Blissey is kind of broken and her Lucario being a special attacker means an otherwise counter is walled.
Missing that ice fang was so painful
I ended up swapping from Luxray to Vespiquen so I can get multiple intimidates off on it and pressure stall for the turns that Vespiquen was in. Once the damage was low enough and she used SD to raise her attack, I used toxic, attack order, and roost as much as possible. It was the slowest champion battle I have ever experienced but it was still a scummy victory
Still a massive W for bringing a Vespiquen to the E4
i used water team but camped i believe milotic coz it did nothing on my setup so i could heal or boost etc and i just had gyarados intimidate use avalanche on garchomp for 120 power :D
all my stuff was like 53-56 lol . pelliper, empoleon, gyarados, floatzel, manaphy, gastrodon
one thing I could never understand in the Pokemon games, is how Ice moves are not super effective against water types... they should just freeze every time they get hit by an Ice move :)
