Best DIY Boat Mount for Active Target, Panoptix, Mega Live- Homemade Pole Ducer under $100!

Putting several ideas together this is the best mount I could come up with for an inexpensive (under $100) pole mount of live sonar. The nice things is I can stand behind my boat console were I fish and control the pole ducer with a hyraulic hose.

What was the thought behind the coupler at bottom of black pipe vs running the 1" pipe all the way thru without the coupler?

I wonder if u could make this more of a transom mount that is permanent. Just need the pole to telescope down 16 inches?

Why make it so complicated? PVC with a handle works best as you can have a hand on your pole and the diver and track your bait perfectly. With your set up you greatly limit the ducer potential
