- When I was a kid I used to love to check out the cosmo covers while standing in the checkout line at the grocery store. Francesco always captured such beautiful images he is one of my all time favorite Photographers. His images and silk screens are just amazing. His images of Paulina Porizkova hhhmmm hhhmmm good. I recorded this on vhs a long time ago so the quality is not the best but I thought Francesco Scavullo fans might enjoy seeing it.

I think he was one of the best in the Industry he sure made Gia Carangi look great. But it doesn't look like it was that hard job to do because she was so pretty.
I was Francesco's agent in the 80's. It sends chills up my spine to see him alive. He was a complex wonderful man. My teacher forever and an icon in his industry and the world.
It was really an honor to represent him. He was my teacher and is in my heart and life forever. Thank you for appreciating him.
He was a professional, in that he began in his teens and worked and worked and worked. He was very technically proficient and evolved a style he excelled at.
Thanks for this wonderful glimpse into the Francesco Scavullo personality, art work and mystique. I had never realized what a sensitive and gentle demeanor he possessed.
"diana" album cover photo is the absolute best.
Scavullo is a legend. I vividly recall how he made Donna Summer look goddess-like on the cover of her Once Upon A Time album (1977).
Thank you for posting this wonderful message. I wish I could have met him, I loved his images.
You took the most beautiful pictures of Gia.❤
That's right he was and hopefully when his estate gets it together he will have the international recognition he so deserves. That was a gorgeous cover of Donna.
What a lovely, generous man.....
The talk show was called Attitudes on the Lifetime Channel, with hosts Nancy Glass and Linda Dano. I'd say this was around 1986.
Today Commemorates Francesco Scavullo's 100th Birthday
I love everything about Scavullo except his vocal fry.
wonderful
@InnerBouquet thank you for the comment I love his work
Hi Michael, Can you remember which channel this was and what the show was called? I'm working on a documentary project for which we'd like to license the material. Thanks in advance for your help! L
