She clenched her jaw hard at night and it caused the jaw muscles to get bigger and stronger and led to very harsh looking jowls. That combined with a sensitive constitution, unhealthy acidic diet all her life, and massive weight gain in college, was all a recipe for what we all saw. A huge downfall of her appearance. But 1980 brooke shields is one of the most beautiful girls of all time.

In the 80s a square jaw and prominent cheekbones with very little facial padding giving the chiselled look was just ‘it’ . Brooks Face was very angular and feminine still, with a soft layer of skin that rounded out her square jaw etc. As she has aged (like everyone else) she has more facial padding and it’s not as tight. Her face isa little more meaty giving a more masculine look. And as I said before she has aged gracefully amongst hordes of Hollywood stars who have relied on surgery and procedures.

She still was the prettiest face even after teens. Only after 2000 you can say her looks have gradually declined bt still prettiest for her age. And the other thing is she never underwent any cosmetic surgery.

At least I dn't find any prettier girl in Hollywood or elsewhere. in even modern times comparing even fairly remotely with her in all those years. I saw her once in 90's tv telecast of Endless Love and instantly became infatuated with her. Such was the effect of her beauty. Please look pictures or video of a Mexican actriz Elsa Aguirre when she was young . You will see Elsa is more pretty than Brook Shield. I am not from Mexico but I never seen a woman prettier than Elsa Aguirre.
