*Razorbacks Fans* Watch Bobby Petrino's formation mastery in this Best of Arkansas exclusive bonus breakdown - www.bestofarkansassports.com/arkansas-football-personnel-most-determine-fate/?RUclips&Video&SpringGame
I love being subscribed to your channel. Great videos for fans that want to be more involved and understand the plays. I would suggest your videos to fans on any SEC team. I send your links out to my friends and will definitely donate anytime i can. Would love to see breakdown of the backup QBs. Singleton and Jackson in particular since Criswell is transferring. Any thoughts on where Criswell might end up?
Keep up the Arkansas videos. We will watch em all. Best breakdowns available. Keep up the good work. If the QB developed enough Bobby Patrino likes to run receiver options.

This is not a knock on KJ, but his fatal flaw many times was holding the ball too long. That blamed could be shared with the receivers and their in ability to get open. But I noticed that Taylen goes through his progressions all lil faster and will make the decision to check down or run in a more timely fashion.....Still Much love to KJ, and I'll be a UCF fan for him and Gus this year.
Would love to see some film on KJ under a Briles. What I'm hearing from numerous players from last year's team is KJ spent no time outside of practice working with his receivers or studying the playbook. I believe KJ's success under Briles stems from him only being asked to make 1 or 2 reads then extend the play. Which played heavily to his strengths. He was far too slow to stand in the pocket and make several reads and he struggled to throw players open. Offensive line play was terrible, but a lot of this stems from Briles and Kennedy not teaching them specific schemes. They literally told the line to just go get a block at times. Enos comes in and tries to teach the o line blocking schemes and outside of a few players it was just too much after such low level schemes from before. Pittman was just too busy with hea coaching duties he didn't spend the time to ensure they were up to the standard. I really think Criswell should've started and practiced with the 1s last year with KJ so bad at running the offense. It was just too much to go from Briles to Enos's system without a QB that is willing to study and help motivate the team. KJ can be successful if he tries but I really think he phoned it in last year. I really believe KJ Jefferson and Jayden Daniels were very similar in talent after the 2022 season. Daniel's has talked about how much extra time he spent throwing to his receivers and building chemistry with them. KJ easily could've had similar success but seemed to get in his own way. Wish him the best but it was time to move past KJ and Green has already shown to exude leadership and spends much of his free time working on the playbook and getting chemistry with his team. I really feel like Green can be a great QB because the mindset and work ethic are so strong. What's your opinion on why KJ was successful under Briles? And who seems to be the better backup for Arkansas between Singleton and the true freshman Jackson?
Cardinal-colored glasses. Hope this is a new Green, because I worry about his decision making against improved defenses. He wasn't a great passer against defenses that had a pulse.
Cardinal red. Arkansss colors. Basically hes saying youre taking too optimistic of a view. Kind of a spin on rose tinted glasses ohrase people use when youre only seeing the good in things and not the bad@@powerhoursec
@@powerhoursec I thought the comparison of Taylen Green to Anthony Richardson was really interesting and I hadn't heard that before. It definitely makes sense though!
I'm hoping for a Singleton/ Jackson breakdown as well. Singleton was a beast in high school. I would even watch that. The kid has serious talent throwing the ball. We have top tier backup
J.J. is a DAWG!!!!!! a 4* QB turned RB, can do it all. He's been through a lot, and will run LB's DB's over and over and over.........then do a spin move or two! lol
14:41 The best thing to do here is to take the sack. Don't dump it, don't go down field, just fall to the ground and reset for the next play. Stepping up in the pocket at that moment would not have helped him in a game..
5 games lost by one possession. It's going to be a visibly major shift simply due to petrino. The defensive unit is going to shine when the offense keeps them off the field
In 1s vs 2s we got what you expected. The #1 offense looked good, put up lots of yards and points and the #1 defense generated multiple 3-and-outs. So what did we learn? Not much. Spring game is for individual player evaluation and fan entertainment. I agree that Green looked really good and the offensive line at least looked like a real offensive line and one that was actually running the same play as the rest of the O--which I am not sure was actually true last year. I thought Singleton put in some good work and KJ Jackson showed why he was highly rated out of high school.
@@powerhoursec I would be more comfortable with him on the roster than not, simply because he has taken a lot of snaps in P5 football compared to the rest of the QB room. I'd rather throw an upperclassman out in the 2nd half of a close road game in the SEC than a a super-talented guy with no meaningful game experience. But that is a selfish perspective and it appears that he was passed on the depth chart by younger player(s). Transferring is probably best for him and I wish him the best of luck wherever he goes.
19:55 in watch Green sell the play action! KJ was so lazy last year. These details make so much of a difference. Some of the zone defenders hesitated on the pass fake! All of these details matter and KJ was cocky and lazy last year.
