What a great interview with a great man. So many lessons to learn from. We've been sold a lie that 65 is the time to retire. I want to be like JH and start hitting my straps at 65!!
Well done Dom. I was born in 94 so my "knowledge" of Hart is definitely not the best lol. Great podcast. We love to blame coaches here in New Zealand smh. Good flow with questions a great conversation
John Hart says, as an amateur rugby player, he was pretty ordinary because he couldn’t kick with his left foot or pass with his left hand. That sums up perfectly why NZ rugby has been ahead of the pack for the past 120 years.
Jonah Lomu’s 2 tries in the 99 semi final as great as they were must’ve psychologically thrown the All Blacks off their game and as a result became complacent and overly confident… I’m no psychologist lol
Brilliant podcast really enjoyed it
Thanks Amanda. I’m pleased. I really enjoyed JHs company
Another awesome podcast …
Cheers legend!
Awesome interview Dom, I've seen a different side of John Hart I've never seen before. Totally changed my view of him.
Be open minded then.

Thanks for the comment. Interesting era for NZ rugby

Dissecting with Dom.
Hold on, at 1:28:45 did Hart say one of the senior staff at Fletcher’s was “a Communist”? I must have misheard that.
