From the murders of Breonna Taylor; Ahmad Aubrey; and George Floyd; to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the slanderous treatment of Judge Katanji Brown Jackson by Senate Republicans; the term " high places" has given me a new focal point. The HIGHEST PLACE on a human being is his head. Is this the place Ephesians is talking about? I believe so. Romans 7:21-23 seems to amplify this thought. " When I WOULD do good; evil is all around me." So; we war against what we think! Proverbs 23:7 makes it plain. This is why Black and Brown bodies are not viewed with the same respect as Western European bodies. ** Footnote: I used to say EUROPEAN bodies; but Vladimir Putin has told the world that he does not see Eastern European Ukrainians as people. end Footnote** Our problems with ethnicity ( not race; we are ALL human) gender and status are all products of what we have been led to believe!
