@@Thekaiser4100 IMO, if it comes down to how a Republican and Democrat feel about a Libertarian, I'm pretty sure the Republican has a better outlook. Many Libertarians will vote for Donald Trump, not because they necessarily like him or agree with him on everything... but because 1. He's not a democrat, 2. He won't confiscate any guns & 3. He wants less federal power and more power to the states.

Mark’s views took a drastic change when he started BJJ and there is a correlation for this. BJJ teaches you several things…
1. You only have freedom within the confines of strict rules and boundaries.
2. You line up according to belt rank. Hierarchies are a positive and integral part of respect for others and encourage the lower belts to keep training.
3. You are judged by your actions and not just your words.
4. By studying violence, you find your balance and peace in body, mind and spirit.
5. The mats don’t lie. Nobody cares who you are, what you do, what your pronouns are, what your political or religious beliefs are or your sexual preferences. It only cares about how you handle pressure when someone is trying to literally kill you. When you can handle immense pressure, you attained true confidence through your actions.

If you've never dramatically changed your opinion on things I can understand you being cynical. But from person experience I know that when you're on the left and you start to realise that you're being lied to and that your ideas don't actually hold up to much scrutiny, it's a very quick turn around. And as for the people in the comments. I see a lot of right-wing people behaving a lot like left-wing people. Don't do that. Don't be them. A enduring characteristic of the left is a complete unwillingness to accept change in others and to forgive the past. If the right hopes to attract new people it can't be doing that. I'm not saying you have to believe him. You don't have to believe anyone. Judge them by their actions. His actions will either confirm that his outlook has changed or they won't. So judge him on that basis. Pre-judging him helps no one, least of all the right.

He is in MMA and jiu jitsu circle now. Most people in our communities are pretty right leaning. You are who you associate with. The mma and bjj community welcome him with open arms after he competed in NAGA grappling in San Jose several years ago,

I think his interest in BJJ and MMA changed him. People that train get humbled real quick and are more realistic and conservative. He's probably been recently influenced by people in his gym rather than "elites".

In Zuckerberg's defense, circumstantial evidence (including behavior suggesting he's on the autism spectrum) suggests he may have been strongarmed by the forces that be into doing dubious things. If anything, he strikes me as the type that would be easy to coerce _(especially_ if he's somehow autistic). Lest we forget, every institution and industry has functionally been held hostage by ideologues and political actors for over a decade. We must remember this and consider potential arm-twisting behind the scenes moving forward, and judge each individual on a case by case basis as evidence suggests.
Be ready to offer the benefit of the doubt. But do so sparingly. With time, those willing to redeem themselves will get their chances to prove their sincerity.

Well for sure there was coercion, but above and beyond that, I don't think even these big tech companies were prepared for how corrupt and sadistic the intelligence community is, or were aware that they were about to shoved down a slippery slope.
