At CES 2024 in Las Vegas our Research Director, Peter Richardson sat down with RayNeo's Global PR Manager, Dongyao Nie to deep dive into their AR offerings. Dongyao spoke about the RayNeo X2, the world's first microLED AR glasses that offer clear, bright, and transparent displays. She highlighted features like live translations, 3D navigation, and interactive 3D avatars. She also spoke about the new and improved RayNeo X2 Lite, a lighter version powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform and RayNeo AI assistant. The company is also promising significant advancements in AR glasses for convenient daily life integration.

@@phyro4143 Not sure how these can be considered "obsolete," since the upcoming Lite version has less AR sensors, 4GB of RAM instead of X2's 6GB, and 32GB storage vs X2's 128GB.

@@ashtonphoenyx True, it is using a newer CPU, the rest of the specs are heavily compensated for some reason, and the X2’s recent benchmarks still perform quite well, so it’s not worth the trade-offs in my opinion, and use of the term ‘obsolete’ may be more subjective.

It went to independent developers first so the most useful packaged apps were ready. It was ready for market last year, released in china first. Now the global version is available on indiegogo as of feb 28th
