Looks nice! Like to see if you can make a video while applying the glass to the foam. I’ve glassed wooden models before but never foam models, kind of apprehensive about it. To fill in the seams, there’s a video of a guy who painted one up in Jurassic park custom job. He used dap Alex flex flexible spackling as well as testers dimensional craft paste, probably have to get that online.

I’m getting ready to build an AL- 37 as well, so I have a few questions about the glassing, if you don’t mind. Did you also glass the flight controls, elevator,ailerons,flaps, etc? Do the alignment marking’s, for the window and door decals, come through the glass?
Yes I glassed the flight controls. I double glassed the areas that are prone to damage. Yes the alignment marks show through the glass enough to alow alignment of decals unless you sand them down to much. I lightly sanded everything and wiped down with alcohol.

Thank you!, I’m considering glassing as well. I’ve never used minwax polycrylic to glass. I’ll use a test piece first
Did you un-hinge the control surfaces when glassing?
No I just worked around the hinges.
