I bought my land 4 years ago and having the work to do literally saved my life! 6 months after the house was done and we moved in I had a heart attack followed by a couple strokes. Having the habitat work to do gave me a purpose to work though the health issues and is also great physical therapy! I enjoy watching your search and hearing your thoughts on the process. Keep going Kapper it will all work out in the end.
So glad to hear that the land helped to heal you! The land is more powerful than people know! The nature, the sights, the sounds, the smells, the birds singing and soooo much more! It can nearly break you financially, but when you are out in the woods on your own land, it all gets healed in the long run!! Take care man and best wishes!
Appreciate your honesty and admire your drive to carry on 🤔 think i would just be staying put with your house an 22 acres an taking a breather from all the stress 🙄😕
I was thinking the same thing. Wait until the 123 and to either land is sold and done deal then go and take one’s time to buy another piece of land. Are they going to sell the house and 23 acres parcel also?
Well I am hard wired to be driven! To a fault often times! I just don't believe in waiting for things to 'come to you,' I believe that you have to make it happen, make them come to you, and overcome all of the adversity and challenges along the way.. Otherwise, if we sit back and wait, I don't believe that good things will come to you on their own. Just my way of thinking! Thanks!
Always man. Even though it is hard, it is tough, it is challenging doing what we are trying to do, we try to keep it real! Not that many people do these kinds of things in such short order but I have a dream!! And a future vision!! Thanks man
Yep it actually is a nightmare! But in the end, I can visualize a beautiful piece of land, hiking or riding in the private trails, birds singing, bringing healing, family enjoying the woods and fields and peace and quiet.. That is what's it's all about. And yes it is going to be expensive, but I still wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks
Nice update kapper, idk if you’ve seen it, there’s a really nice 120ac and house in mis, with a video tour here on youtube called ‘fall mist ranch’ if you havnt seen it. About 250miles away.
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 awesome, look forward to it. Watching your videos must of influenced the algorithm for my home video selection because I’m getting a lot of property video tours now!
Yes sir! That WILL be happening! lol That is my stress debriefing time!! One challenge at a time, and one day at a time and the hot tub is my Daddy's helper! Thanks man, appreciate it
Definitely can relate Kap, sort of in the same boat currently, as the process has played out I've have came to realize, if it's meant to be it's meant to be, if not, there is a reason God is saying no. I know it's easier said than done but I do wholeheartedly believe that.
It will all come together. first never divide up a property that has a morgage as you will run it this issue. firgure out waht that ten acure is worth and plan on paying that to the bank to get the release. that can come out at closing and go striaght to the bank. you will regain that i'm sure when you sell the house. but that ten was on improved land with a house and now your sellingit at land only price. that might bit you some. or agree to take that ten off with the new buyer. hopefull your group land will sale soon.
Appreciate the video. I was wondering if you could make a video sort of detailing the timeline of your financial life on how you got the ball rolling to be able to afford buying land. What was the the first domino you needed to fall to get the ball rolling. How old were you when you were able to start this journey. What kind of careers did you and the wife have? If you've already made a video like that, can you post the link? Thanks 👍🏻
Well this video here really lays out kind of how we started on all of this! Man, looking back, it's been a Loooooong road!! Check it out, thanks! ruclips.net/video/BzlwxZmF-4k/видео.html
I swear I think half the fun and adventure would be working the ground and making it your own I wouldn't want a turnkey piece I guess its like you said some people lack imagination.
Yes sir you are soooo right on that!! That is what I live for! I'd much rather take a blank slate and work the ground and totally improve it and create a lasting legacy all from scratch!!
Buying/selling with loans sucks. Don’t like it? Buy what you can afford and not what you can afford the payments on. People love to live above their means
Well since financing is part of the American dream, I believe in achieving as much as you can, and when it comes to owning land, I try to get as much as one can possibly afford, and over time it will be a worthwhile investment. Thanks! I'll keep moving the chess pieces!
little does the possible project 291 buyer know that those newly planted kapper plots are going to have to be plowed under and replanted because kapper plots are jinxed and rarely grow into mature plots ;)
Darn Kapper...sounds like you are up against "Murphy's Golden Rule"---the people with the GOLD get to make all the RULES!! Also might get your billfold ready to pay ALL the VA loan closing costs--if VA loans still work like that??? OUCH!!!

Good things take time.
Yes sir for sure! But like the girl in Willy wonka.. 'I want it now daddy!!!' lol

Well, sometimes! lol. Other times it can get overwhelming! One day at a time! Thanks have a good one!
Thank you for the update. Now I think I’m straight. I think!
LOL thank! Trust me, I 'think' I am straight, at least for this moment! And of course that is subject to change in a few hours!! Cheers!

Get in the hot tub tonight with an adult beverage and look around with what you have. Everything will work out eventually.

Never deal with VA loans never too much red tape!!
YEP!! 100% right there!! We might lose that buyer now!!

@@KapperOutdoors2.0and you actually OWN none of it… that’s not the American dream.. that’s American delusion
Just when you think it's a done deal, a monkey wrench gets thrown in the mix!
No doubt!! I really dislike this kind of stuff when it happens!! And that's being friendly!! lol
Closing more often get put off at least 30days rather than closing on time …. Surely you didn’t expect anything less?
lol no I didn't expect less but dang it man! Come on people, just do your job!! It's not that hard!
Where's curtisssssssssssssss?
little does the possible project 291 buyer know that those newly planted kapper plots are going to have to be plowed under and replanted because kapper plots are jinxed and rarely grow into mature plots ;)

Just keep what u got say the hell with it keep all ur land in Illinois just my two cents
Well that might be nice but... We have most of it under contract right now!!
