thx Jeremy, glad you enjoyed it! I like your Channel, subscribed already :) That Pocket Operator Jam was so fu**in awesome! Glad you stopped by ;-) Cheers
yep, it definitely has. The Odyssey has a wonderful analog tone and the Nemesis Delay adds to that with its very own character. Really worth checking them out together!
yep, unfortunately. it doesnt respond to velocity, aftertouch, CCs and stuff, but: It does respond to Pitch Bend. +/- 2 an octave at least. Found this out by accident in another Video i did. But thats really about it. Working with CV gives you a little bit more. You can then use the Pedal Input to control the Filter Frequency for example. But generally speaking: Theres not much Remote Control of this machine, thats for sure. Its sound - however - is amazing and you will get into dialing on the Faders in Realtime really fast. Classic old school Automation, so to say :-D
I'm still tempted - i just love the evil 80's sound. No velocity either? I use the odyssey vsti and that has it, but was evidently just an addition to the software.
heyja! :-) Thank you very much. Nice to hear that you like it. And thanks for sharing too! :-) This Delay really deserves attention - you made a great piece of hardware with the Nemesis!
sourceaudioeffects hey source audio. can you demo the polymod filter with a synth. I know it would only be a global filter but I'm curious. pedal demos with synths would probably sell more pedals. no bugger does it
yet still a boutique one ;-) the Nemesis Delay is 300 €, the Timeline is 500 € - and doesnt nearly offer the flexibility of the Nemesis. I was blown away as i saw the sheer amount of parameters you can control with the Neuro App. And the additional Delay Engines hidden in that App are amazing :) Definitely worth checking out - for sure!
I miss the 80's synth bands! I wish the Arp had patch storage, I like to work really fast and I don't think I can program well enough to use it for much. I thought about a VST version because of that but it's not the same. Anyhow, nice video!
Thx mate! A VST is definitely not the same. The Arp Odyssey sounds just amazing! There is a weight inside of its sound that i cannot describe, its just awesome! Even the reissue from Korg really nails it! No VST can reproduce this. Programming it isnt that hard tbh. Once you get how to find the Sweet Spots you have your sound in seconds! Dont fear the missing Patch Storage; you really dont need it!
Take photos with your mobile and name them accordingly, even record a snippet of sound with the photo and name it the same. Sure not as fast but fast enough.
thanks mate. The Odyssey doesnt have an Arpeggiator; only a Note Repeat Function with the LFO. The sequences you hear are all created in Ableton Live and sent to the Odyssey via USB-MIDI. Cheers
thanks mate! :-) No, this is just the Analog Delay that you can select on the Unit itself. Stock Preset so to say. I adjusted it with the Knobs on the Front, nothing else. Its basically the sound of this Engine, right out of the Box. There is an additional Analog Delay Type hidden in the Unit (Resonant Analog its called). But this isnt used here. The third Example - Oil Can - is tweaked a little bit in the Neuro App while i was there. Namely i increased the Diffusion Parameter. But the Analog Delay is the way it is :)
thank you very much mate. i should work for those companies, should i? :-D I really like the Odyssey so far. Its sound is absolutely terrific and the controls are so musical. You dial in the Ring Mod for example and switch one OSC to Saw, the other one to Square. Now you use Sample and Hold for the Frequency of the second Oscillator and activate Sync. And to sum it up you use the LFO as the PWM Source and turn the PWM of the Square Wave OSC to max. On other Synths this might already sound muddy like hell; not so on the Odyssey. It stays in a musical context, somehow - cant describe it! :) I only miss some more Waveforms. It would be a killer if it would also have a Triangle or even a Sine Wave. But, yeah one cant have everything, right?! Fantastic Synth, definitely. Will do more Videos with it as well - thats for sure.
Hey. Nope, nothing's mixed in here. Thats all coming from the Odyssey you see in the Video ;) Its only receiving the MIDI Notes from Live. The Odyssey is running straight into the Nemesis and that one's connected to the Heat which is finally recording everything in Live as a single Audio Track. Nothing more. The Odyssey doesnt have a Sub; its only the two oscillators. Like i wrote in the Video: One time i just switch the Waveform on one Osc and the other time i crank up PWM on both OSCs. But yeah, thats all :)
Nice delay. Has a midi in sync I see. That's high on my list of must haves. Been currently using my Flashback x4 in this capacity because of the midi clock sync but this has a smaller footprint. Very good sound too.
thx Matt. Yeah i bought it with this in mind as well. But i dont use it right now. The Delays are sync'able by Hand pretty good, the Knobs have good drag so you can precisely hit the right timing - pretty much spot on. The thing with MIDI is: You can control all of the parameters that way. And this Delay has literally tons of it :) Thats what i want to use one day. Definitely worth it. I once had a Timeline from Strymon, but i didnt like it. Too generic in terms of sound quality. This one really shines and with the Neuro App and/or MIDI you get so much more. I recommend it. GET IT! :-D
01:20 sounds absolutely amazing.

reminds me of Eve online soundtrack
I actually keep coming back this, it just sounds incredible :)
This synth through those effects has such a wonderful tone. Nice work.
yep, it definitely has. The Odyssey has a wonderful analog tone and the Nemesis Delay adds to that with its very own character. Really worth checking them out together!
I want a korg arp module but im a little put off - the midi specs seem so skinny - it takes note on and off and that's about it, yes?
yep, unfortunately. it doesnt respond to velocity, aftertouch, CCs and stuff, but: It does respond to Pitch Bend. +/- 2 an octave at least. Found this out by accident in another Video i did. This video sounds amazing! Thanks for checking out the Nemesis - we will be sharing this one. :-)

Thanks! We really appreciate the kind words.

Just ordered a nearly new Nemesis and this video helped make the final decision. Thank you. Looking forward to a Ventris reverb next.
thanks mate! have fun with the Nemesis. Its really an awesome delay, for sure!
You win the game! This sound is perfect!
Mega. Thx for testing and this good sound quality
youre welcome ;-)
Klingt brutal! Und so ein nices setup :D
hehe, dankeschön ;-)
Awesome pedal
Can't wait for my arp now.
such a nice combination! both are on my short list :)
hehe, thank you. Can definitely recommend them both. Dreamteam :)
Nice sound!
Sounds thick as hell dude! 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Thanks!
Now I want this
The Nemesis? Or the Odyssey? I tell you what: Get both!!! :-)
both :) ..hehe first if ordered the nemesis:) cant wait
A pretty good alternative to big strymon's and eventide's

Cool videos thanks for sharing
thank you. glad you like it!
Sounds good!
thanks! :)
Nice video, but we have to give credit to those catchy sequences, great demo!
hehe, thank you! :-)

"ACE"
yeah. the Nemesis is ACE, thats right! :-)
Nice, is this using the on-board arpeggiator?
thanks mate. The Odyssey doesnt have an Arpeggiator; only a Note Repeat Function with the LFO. The sequences you hear are all created in Ableton Live and sent to the Odyssey via USB-MIDI. Cheers
Hi! When you first kick in the Nemesis, I was sold. Was that a preset you used or did you tweak it?
thanks mate! :-) No, this is just the Analog Delay that you can select on the Unit itself. Stock Preset so to say. I adjusted it with the Knobs on the Front, nothing else. +umonox Well i'm buying one. How you do like the odysee so far? Oh and your video on the Analog Heat, soo useful! Sold on that too. :D

Hi!Do you mix a couple of tracks in Ableton in the last video or all the sounds from one Korg(without delay).First osc + second and sub?
Hey. Nope, nothing's mixed in here. Thats all coming from the Odyssey you see in the Video ;) Its only receiving the MIDI Notes from Live. What are your thoughts on the blue sky?
All those wires in the back are giving me serious OCD issues! but amazing video nonetheless
im always too lazy to untangle them ;-) and i have no space anyway, so ... better tape your screen in the top left corner before watching my videos xD
A Sodom tattoo, really?
yeah, a mistake from the youth - kept it as a reminder of how crazy we all were back then ;-)
Haha, cool!
@@umonox Good thing they have ways to remove them
Hell yea Sodom is the shit
