Maybe you cover it later but I’m only at 17:52 I think the higher power stuff also isn’t working because its on a different circuit, RVs usually have two types of systems, one is a 12 volt like alternator or car battery power and the other is like a household system that only works when plugged into a higher power outlet or on the generator. With every old RV I’ve seen the one thing that usually always works is the microwave, and any fans or the fan part of the AC.
That’s a great project camper. Get yourself a garden sprayer 10% solution of bleach spray all the interior exposed joists to buy a rubber roof for that and the adhesive $1100 toss out the carpet put laminate floor down you got a camper that’s worth 10 grand depending on the age. Don’t be afraid of it well if you were even closer than I go after I just finished restoring my camper after the flood of last July 2023. Forget painting it, forget ‘glam ping’ it, it’s heap to fix it ‘properly’ I should know, I’ve owned 29 personal use campers/Rv.
That table turns into bed. Pull the legs and table drops down and sits on the boards. That’s all fixable, I’ve bought several from copart and IAAI fixed them used them and sold them. DO NOT PLUG THAT INTO A 220v outlet! That is a 30amp 120v plug! Throw a marine battery on it and the slide and lights will work.

Pretty simple though, remove the bumper and then there’s just 8 bolts holding the crash bar on, replace that with the one with a receiver but make sure you use the bolts that came with the tow package car, they’re beefier. As far as the electrical goes, the OEM tie control module isn’t very reliable so I’d recommend wiring in an aftermarket one
I'm in Michigan and to total something like that white car, it probably had water above the seat bottoms or water intrusion in the engine. There's a few more, but those are the most common. Fix it and title it as "homemade". In Michigan, DMV will have you take it to a truck scale for a weight ticket and then they will issue a clean title. Now, IF you want to get rid of it for $250, let me know.
The roof needs some attention. As you came up ladder you can see roof material separating, very common. Repair can easily be under $200 today. Do nothing and ignore will be $1000 next year, if you do yourself

The Air Conditioner only runs on A/C power 220/120 volts. This RV would be relatively simply and inexpensive to repair/rebuild to near perfect condition but the legal title situation would be a pain. Having said that their are still lots of people who would love to have it and you could still make a good profit and sell it at a big discount to titled price.
Their loss ! They messed up ! I got a new computer once for $200 because it was in the wrong spot at the store in the case and should have been $400.. The manager honored the sticker on the shelf ! lol
More then likely water damage or is stolen recovery most michigan salvage titles are from that or serious frame structural damage. I live in MI and have dealt with them plenty of times.
Black water is the toilet. Grey water is the sink and shower. then you have the water tank you fill with drinking water that comes out of your shower head and sinks. It also goes to the hot water heater and ice maker if you have one. Fix the bad spot on the roof and once it is seated up use some bleach to kill the mold, paint it on the mold or spray it, and watch the bleach doesn't get on anything below, I would put plastic under it in case it drips. Then put up some new paneling. Just like new!

Yep that was definitely the jack dragging on the ground. However if you look at the Copart pictures, the jack was already bent from the previous transporter, so this guy was unable to lift it back up. I just forgot to mention that in the video.
First and foremost…Dry in the roof. Eternabond, there is a paint sealer, lots of simple solutions. Then clean, cover holes and deer camping for a few grand.
But to keep an RV that copart/driver did a fault, you can be charged with stolen goods, or something like willingly keep information back to obtain someone's property...
Wildwood is a Forest River RV and not known for being one of the best made, most RVs aren't well made.... They aren't made for fulltime use. So years of neglected maintenance and repairs /refurbishing cheap systems are probably in your future imo. Are you in for major work to make it right ? Otherwise clean it and flip it imo...
That will be a nice travel trailer if fixed back up and worth every penny doing so. They are a 'decent' brand and hold up pretty well for years of fun and experience. With enough effort anything can be fixed. It’s just a matter of feasibility. The oil leak you’re referring to is likely the piston ring issue on the 2.0t motor
Throw a marine grade battery on it, and do not plug that 120v plug into a 220v, it’ll push way to much power and blow fuses and power boxes left right and centre.

Also your state may be different than where I live so I suppose it may not even matter for you but... you bought a camper/trailer... titling it as a camper trailer (rebuilt) would require an inspection, a weigh slip (gross weight), and some sort of vin#... I have seen where states require you assign a new vin# if it's rebuilt. I rebuilt a trailer and the state gave me the run around about it until someone at the DMV told me to buy a set of punch dies & to assign a vin# to the trailer I rebuilt. I finally got it titled. Again... good luck sir!

We, as the owner, do not hand over the title, and when we sell it on copart or other sites, we as the owner still possess a Clean Michigan green title. But insurance did inface total it!

I think most cars that are completely destroyed and are unusable for anything, even parts, do get crushed after the accident. Also if there is blood/other bodily fluids inside they do get marked as “biohazard” on the listing/title and they put a sticker on the car too.
It's definitely able to be towed by a car, we towed a 32 foot trailer with a Cadillac before we were able to purchase a new 1500 Suburban. The Cadillac towed it to Myrtle Beach, SC from New Jersey five times, not to mention other trips to parks and dog shows. That trailer would be an awesome project for a tiny home, I would definitely seal the roof before any more water damage happened because water damage spreads like crazy! Great buy!

Okay for one you need to pull the slide out all the way out not halfway out all the way out and you can't step on it when it's in second off black tank gray tank correct Galley tank so you have three tanks also you have a water pump and a water heater that was that those two switches on the bottom of that white box now the slide out is very important that you don't step on it when it's in and you bring it all the way out not halfway like you did cuz that wrecks it big time

What you paid for that is a steal you can get a new roof put on for 2 grand and get the interior rebuilt for another couple thousand if you could get it titled you could easily make money on it if you can't it's definitely worth $1500 to someone who needs parts find a 120v 30 amp outlet and test the AC I sold one in similar shape for 1000 to a guy for parts

I actually retrofitted the tow package, just junk yard parts. Probably a $150 investment

Some Audi's have an oil leak in engine that CAN NOT be fixed,,,,,,no motors anywhere $20k new motor from Germany.
