Thx for this vid I’ve been saving up for so long to buy this bike (I’m only 13 and don’t have a job other than mowing lawns) hopefully by next week I will be able to sell my dirt bike and have enough money to buy one of these and all of your upgrades
I got my bike a couple weeks ago. While i was waiting on it i binged your videos and i was ready for it as if I'd ridden it a thousand times thanks to you. I've used as many of your affiliate links as i can. I hope it helps you even a fraction of the amount that you've helped me. :)
Jeramiah, thank you so much for your efforts on these videos. We are getting electric bikes to take with us camping and I made a spread sheet with the different bikes and components. I'm only 5' tall and Lectric step thru was #1 on my list. Then I ran across your videos. You are so informative and have an ease in front of the camera. That's important, because I have turned others off because of their slow talking ways. 3 days ago I ordered my Lectric bike. And thanks to your wife, I have the handlebars in my wish list because of back problems. (Sold out now.) I showed my husband about 6 of your videos. He thinks a 20" is too short for him (he's only 5'11") and is searching for a 26" folding bike. I'm hoping mine comes in about 2 weeks so he can try it and see how it works for him. He laughed at your father in law riding with that tall seat and said it's too top heavy. Yes, but it fit! Husband will be 70 this year and I told him he will feel a 26" will be top heavy with him on it. Lower center of gravity helps at his age! lol Anyway, thank you for helping with my decision! Your videos are great!
Thank you very much Karen I’m glad to be able to help with your decision. I think your husbands going to be surprised how big the bike actually is when you get it and I’m sure it would fit him just fine with him being 5’ 11”. If I were him I would probably get the step through because of the lower center of gravity and longer leg extension also being able to swap the batteries between the two bikes if they are the same.
I realize that this is 2 yrs old, but hoping that you see and respond. I am getting ready to order a lectric 3.0 for my birthday tomorrow. I am 5', as well. I was looking at their new premium model, which has hydraulic brakes and a 4" tire, but it says that it is for 5' 2" so I will probably stick with the 3.0 which works for our height. I am wondering how you like your bike. I dislike purchasing a big item on line without being able to sit on it and test ride it. Thanks.
Well, I think now I have seen all your videos (some twice). They are so well done and informative and I appreciate your enthusiasm. Thanks to your videos, we ordered two Lectric XP step-thru bikes and they came today. Will be ordering some accessories you have reviewed. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you Jeremiah. I just purchased my bike in part due to your very thorough and informative reviews. I also appreciate your how to videos which will come in handy when minor fixes and adjustments need to be made. Keep up the good work!
Jeremiah, I recently purchased 2 XP bikes, one for me and one for my wife. Just want to thank you for all your videos, they are super helpful in doing the modifications.
I got the rim tape, the front bag, the horn alarm, the portable charger, and the kryptonite lock because of you. It's so cool now I dont even want to ride it. Even put a stereo on it thanks to the extension bar. Thanks a million for your videos
I too have been watching your videos and have purchased some of the many accessories based on your review and knowing it will fit our new Lectric step thru bikes the wife and I now have. Just got them a couple months ago now... thanks
I spent a couple months in Quartzsite. Stopped in to check out the bikes during my stay and fell in love with this bike. Unfortunately I had bought another bike prior to arriving in az. Once I got him sold the other ebike and bought this one. I can’t wait for it to get here. Love the informative videos too. Thanks so much.
You’re videos for the Lectric are fantastic. You have a very nice, easy going personality and explain very well. I ordered 2 Lectric bikes because of your reviews.
Jeremiah, wanted to mention that in the back of the post seat very snuggly fits a BiG Jawbone speaker. That space is perfect to fit that speaker, all I did was to lift the seat, put some ties around it and ready to go. Thank you
Definitely personal preference, only two things I need, a cover to keep her dry and stop burds shitting on my bike, and a chain and lock like that meant for a motorbike, I use a backpack, those rack bags seem small and vulnerable to me, My stuff goes where I do, not left on the bike. Those under seat alarms from China are far from waterproof and I had two, none worked apart from one going off all the way home until I introduced it to a hammer to shut it up. Nobody gave me a second look riding my bike with a loud alarm blaring either. I'm getting a compressed air horn, turns out car drivers in town are blind. Adding a tyre valve to the can makes compressed air can horns refillable. And loud.
My husband and I decided we’d get an electric bike. Now to figure out what or which one. We want to go off road, ride on beach & city riding. Now any suggestions on what will be best. Thanks & great videos.😎🇺🇸
Hey Jeremiah. I've ordered a cloud 9 seat now. We ordered two step through bikes last week. I like some of your accessories. I'll continue buying from this page. 2nd purchase now today. My wife will need the handle bars and we will get the horn alarm and the rack bag. Thanks for your great videos.
No problem Glenn I’m glad you find my videos helpful! If you haven’t already seen it check out my first original accessory video as well it shows a lot of different accessories.
My best upgrades are 2 headlights, one for close, one for far. Bell, to get people out of my way. Mirror, a must if you ride in traffic. Bag on rear to hold whiskey or vodka. Stock seat is fine for me, Stock hand grips I like. Suspension seat post ads a bit of comfort over bumps. Had my bike over 1 year... don't buy had grips or seat... the stock seat and grips may be just fine. Don't go off road if you have goathead thorns in your area! These tires are not thorn resistant at all.
After ordering my bike in January 2021 I just received it. Now I have to wait for it to stop raining. But I have my bike and itching to do some upgrades. Mainly the seat and seat post. Enjoy your videos, very informative.
Thank you very much! Sounds like you will be out enjoying it soon! In my opinion the zoom suspension seatpost and seat upgrade is one of the best upgrades!
Just purchased the Rockbros bag and love it, the original free pannier that came with the XP was falling apart after 6 months of use. Highly recommended the Rockbros, you get with you pay for.
Thanks for the locking tips and accessory roundup with all the links. I had not thought about covering up the bike name, but that is a good security idea. The stealth location of the battery helps disguise the electric nature of the bike then they plaster "Lectric" on the sides, and the Tires now. I will not receive mine for a bit, is the "Lectric" painted on or a vinyl decal that can be removed? If it is painted maybe I can find a white reflective tape to cover it with and some black paint for the Tires. I really like the disc alarm in your links. Would the "reminder cable" be able to be looped through the seat and be able to lock to the rear rotor? The cable can be easily cut but using this alarm would help with an easy opportunity seat theft. I am thinking one or two disc alarms and the chain should be a reasonable deterrent for short stops.
I am the 13th to see it and actually brought the xp lectric step thru from Jeremiah's videos too. He does great videos. I have two other ebikes and this one seems to be the sturdiest and the fastest. Really good purchase. I like this one the best. I have the ancheer mountain bike and the etronic but this one is the best. I have done over 35 miles on one charge and still had battery left. I did the ride over several days.....without having to charge each time....
Thanks again. Man your fast. I'm 67 with more health problems than i can count so just trying to figure out what will be best for this used body.lol Just ordered 2 bikes. I thinks the boss and i are going to love them.
Hey Jeremiah! Finally got those pennies saved to order my XP 2.0 and took advantage of the free Comfort Package sale.😁 Thanks for all your great videos and I look forward to revisiting them once my bike arrives in a few weeks! I used your links for the bike and some of the accessories. Thanks again!
Sweet!!! Those pennies are gonna be money well spent you’re gonna enjoy it Ken. And thank you for the help supporting the channel by using the links I really appreciate you!
@@andrewcox7179 advance video viewing was super helpful for me and Jeremiah has some great ones that are so worth the time. My bike has been great with no issues to report after I figured out an error code that really just needed me to give the bike a good full charge and it corrected itself. The free "comfort package" with the over-sized seat which was offered when I bought the bike quickly broke after I had it. They offered a refund which was just enough to cover to the cost of the seat Jeremiah recommends which I'm very happy with. THEY even recommended that one. I know you'll be happy with the bike! Happy trails!
My TUSH has had 83 years of use and an eBike WITHOUT a front fork suspension is asking a LOT from the bones, joints, and muscles sitting on top of that TUSH. I'd LOVE to see you do a video on replacing the front fork of the XP LITE with a suspension fork! Maybe even a nice soft air suspension fork. You do a great job of identifying the best of the many accessories for this eBike so please add a replacement suspension fork? I'm CERTAIN that LOTSA your followers (and maybe Lectric Bikes, TOO!) would be VERY INTERESTED in this conversion. Please, help out all of the "Softies" that follow you.
We just got two Lectric XP step throughs and really appreciate your great list of accessories! We'll definitely be checking some of those out. We will be back to watch more of your videos; Danny and Lynn
Your videos are a huge help. I'm going to use many of your links. I have one question that I haven't seen anyone talk about in any video and that is about your beautiful blue rims on your bikes. How do you get that? The blue really dresses up the bikes. Just pops out at a person. I want to put those on my Lectric. You are so full of ideas. Keep making those videos. Hope you have time to ride and enjoy all your hard work. Thanks for all the information and details. A huge help, you are.
I appreciate your enthusiasm level for your bikes. They are well-cared for! Would you mind sharing how many mikes that you've put on each bike? Thank you!
Yes that many work in some situations and Here is my tutorial on cruise control for anyone that doesn’t know about it. ruclips.net/video/k4Q8RVoo7V0/видео.html
On the model XP behind the seat post there is a hallow space, its perfect to fit the bigJawbone jambox speaker, it's the only model I tested, it fits very snuggly and the music comes out load, on the road nobody knows where the music is coming from.
I got my XP about six weeks ago,Absolutely love it! Two problems so far though, I got a flat my front and could not find an innertube anywhere in my area right outside Philadelphia she’s been been out for several months .Finally found one spot on the Internet and I bought 5 of them.Folding his bike I’m carrying it up to my second-floor apartment is way too awkward, I’m thinking of buying a hiost to bring up on the side of my porch.Wondering if I should left it by the handle or don’t fold it and attach cable to front, middle and back.Trying to make it easy To reach 2nd floor.
I have A link for the tubes on amazon listed in the description of every one of my videos. I would leave the bike together and walk it up the steps it’s easier to carry while it is open.
Thank you for your videos!! I have had an XP 2.0 (step through) for a number of months. I am enjoying it! I have not ridden it for lots of miles because where I live, it is cold and rainy in the winter. My wife now wants one!! HOWEVER, my wife needs a seat designed for females. Any suggestions? With typical bicycle seats, she experiences external numbness in her "female area." She also is on the "heavy" side. Any suggestions?
Hi! I'm waiting on my Lectric Trike! I subscribed to your Channel; and am just, now, watching this. Before I purchase this because my Trike is RED ... is there a difference between the red and black one (Tchipie Motorcycle Alarm Disc Brake Lock, Theft Prevention Motorbike Security Wheel Disk Lock for 7mm Brake Rotor with 110db Alarm Sound…)? Is the black one a better one, for security? TIA!
Jeremiah, thank you so much for your videos and I picked up the Rockbros bag yesterday on an Amazon "Lightning Deal" with a nice discount. Now, I just need the bike to put it on! ha-ha! Saving my pennies for the other recommended accessories you've shared. Thanks again!
Jeremiah: Enjoying your videos very much. I appreciate all you contribute. I'm due to receive my bike towards the end of this month, and have been purchasing some accessories. I'm wondering if you can tell me the most common Allen wrench sizes, as well as bolt sizes, as I'm looking to purchase an "all-in-one" style wrench set to keep on the bike. A number of them have a series of Allen wrench keys and then some sockets, but kind of pointless if they don't fit the bike. Could you give a list of the most common sizes of both Allen wrenches and sockets needed for maintenance?
Hi Jeremiah, Thank you for doing such a great accessory video. I got practically all of your accessories except the RockPros bike rack bag; I purchased another brand of bag that also has the expandable bag in the to, and the drop panniers on the sides. I also have spoke reflectors on both of my tires, because although I have the rim reflectors, I’m a bit nervous about putting them on. They are still in the package. 😊. Again, thank you for such great accessories review.
Happy New Year to you! I did receive my Lectric XP ebike and I am really enjoying it. It is all your videos depicted it to be. Could you please tell me which brake pads you use for the original brakes on your black bike? There are a lot of pads to choose from on your link to Amazon and I think I would prefer the pads closest to the original pads but don’t know which ones that would be. By the way the new handle bar and fold in half latches are great, easy to use and I really like them. Also for you and your viewers information I am able to place the folded bike on the rear seat of my 2020 Toyota Corolla.
Awesome I’m glad you’re enjoying the new bike. If you just got it you probably won’t need to buy brake pads for a while because the original ones do last for sometime. If you want the exact pads they are Tektro a10.11 but have been hard to find on Amazon they are ceramic metallic pads. You have to be careful on some listings because a lot of places look like they’re trying to sell the organic E 10.11’s as ceramic.
I learned so much from you while waiting on my ST to arrive. Thanks for your incredibly helpful vids. I absolutely love my hafny end bar mirror. Small footprint and out of the way even on the short factory handlebars, but really handy to see approaching vehicles. Any suggestion for a bright rechargeable motorcycle headlight for the bike?
I have a rechargeable light that I use that I show an example of in my previous accessories video if you would like to check it out. Also you can get some rechargeable flashlights that can mount to the handlebars.
How about a headlight upgrade? I just installed one that runs up to 60 volts and comes with a halo running light and low, high and strobe light.Hope Jeremiah can show video of install because he is very good at describing them.Love your videos , have bought many of the accessories through his links, keep up the great work!!!
People are always gonna find something to complain about. I think one of the best things about the Lectric XP is there is less to break and those people who talked about all your extras are gonna buy all kinds crap for their $2000 bikes
Jeremiah, thanks for the great videos on the Lectric XP. I will be posting my experiences and sharing my bike addon's from an older perspective, 65 plus community. I will be also be posting on Rumble as these bikes are for living the free life. RUclips will be blocking any content from anyone they feel doesn't hold to the Left agenda. I am one of them and love this great country. Keep up the good work. Keith
Jeremiah, I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, they are so informative, Keep them coming, you really sold me on Lectric Xp e-bike. Btw, I just purchased my first e-bike last the weekend and will probably get it sometime in the end of July. I ordered the XP Step-Thru 2.0, this model comes with 3 inch tires. My question to you is, do you know of any puncture proof tire like Kenda tires that are 3 inches wide? What do you recommend. Again, thanks for all your videos.!
Do you have any recommendation for handlebar grips for the Lectric bike or for a Magicycle or the equivalent? I did like the Magicycle‘s handlebar grips however, they were a pain to get off after I installed hydraulic brakes on it. I’m looking to put replacements on it. Thought you might have come across some that you would recommend, if not no worries. Thanks
I’m not sure if it would be big enough to go around the frame or not. If so it should work well however anything can be cut with a grinder but the bigger it is the longer it takes.
I am waiting for my Lectric Xp 3.0 but I wanted to ask you about the rims that you have on you and your wife's bike, when did you change them to 20 x 4.0 rims?
Will you be updating the front light? I have done several of the modifications you recommended. We have had out bikes for about two weeks now and are having a blast. Most of the accessories were here before the bike and I really appreciate your attention to detail.
Thank you Greg. I have rechargeable lights that I use if I ride at night. I’ve seen seen some people have problems after updating the front light when they put one on that pulls to much power.
thank you for the videos. We are ordering the new X2 with suspension. cant wait to use them. will be adding goodies from your list. appreciate the list.
Thanks for your video, I wonder if you bought the B-Soul saddlebag for the cel phone in blue outline or you painted it that way? It appears they only come in neon green and red now.
@@JeremiahMcintosh How unfortunate they don't have that color anymore, it looks so bad ass. If you know where I can get that color it would be really appreciated. Thanks for the videos bro.
Love your vids. You do a great job in your diy vids. I have one ?. You show 2 different free wheels in your list. Could you explain what the difference would be. Thanks
11-28 is the one I installed and love it. If you have very steep hills the 11-34 is better for hills. If you don’t have a problem going up hills now with the current freewheel then the 11-28 would be fine for you.
There is one item I saw on another RUclips video that looks awesome is a small rechargeable electric pump with an USB out so it can double as a portable phone charger. It would fit nicely in your front storage bag. Sorry no details as I'm still trying to find the place I saw it.
Hey J your not adding to much accessories you just go all in went you do something, keep on trucking dude people just hate, We share the same attitude about our toys.
Good video, thanks for making it. What did you do about your kickstand? Mine is so long the bike stands almost full vertical, so it wants to blow over in a wind.

How do you get that? The blue really dresses up the bikes. Just pops out at a person. I want to put those on my Lectric. You are so full of ideas. Keep making those videos. Hope you have time to ride and enjoy all your hard work. Thanks for all the information and details. A huge help, you are.
Love the way you deck these out👍😎👍
The alarm lock is good with a chain lock there cheap on eBay
Jeremiah, I love how thorough your reviews are.
Thank you for all you do.
Ps. I hope you are able to review some Bluetooth helmets.
I appreciate your enthusiasm level for your bikes. They are well-cared for!
Would you mind sharing how many mikes that you've put on each bike? Thank you!
Not as many as I would like because I haven’t had much time but to be honest I can’t really remember I’ll have to look.
Thank you for the effort you put into your videos. Just recently purchased my bike and I find your videos very informative.
Thank you Chris I appreciate that!
if you have issues holding the throttle just set the cruse control. move the throttle where you want it and hold the down arrow
Not everyone may enjoy your taste in music, or may prefer to just enjoy nature sounds. Please consider others.
I got my XP about six weeks ago,Absolutely love it! Two problems so far though, I got a flat my front and could not find an innertube anywhere in my area right outside Philadelphia she’s been been out for several months .Finally found one spot on the Internet and I bought 5 of them.Folding his bike I’m carrying it up to my second-floor apartment is way too awkward, I’m thinking of buying a hiost to bring up on the side of my porch.Wondering if I should left it by the handle or don’t fold it and
attach cable to front, middle and back.Trying to make it easy To reach 2nd floor.
I have A link for the tubes on amazon listed in the description of every one of my videos. I would leave the bike together and walk it up the steps it’s easier to carry while it is open.
Another winner. Thank you sir.,.
With typical bicycle seats, she experiences external numbness in her "female area."
She also is on the "heavy" side.
Any suggestions?
Great entry level e-bike
What about using a GPS tracker on your bike for security, they make them for dog collars as well.
Thanks Ken! Glad you were able to get a deal on one!
@@JeremiahMcintosh arrived just now and love it. As you said, nice quality for sure. Thanks again!
Jeremiah:
Enjoying your videos very much.
Great video! I bought the horizontal handle bar extension after your other video. I love it!
Thank you!
Got my Lectric last week. Love it. Your videos have been a great help. Thank you.
Your welcome Chris I’m glad you found them helpful!
Hi Jeremiah,
Thank you for doing such a great accessory video.
Thank you for all your content. Very thorough and organized. Best wishes to you.
Thank You very much! I appreciate that!
I noticed you dont have mirrors on your bikes..Is there enough room for a mirror, celphone holder and a thumb throttle?
Can you recommend a front rack for an ebike similar to the Lectrics?
People are always gonna find something to complain about. I think one of the best things about the Lectric XP is there is less to break and those people who talked about all your extras are gonna buy all kinds crap for their $2000 bikes
I got the bigger seat and post from lectric it works great
Great to hear!
Thank you so much! I made an amazon list with all your links. When my bike arrives I'll be adding bits to it from your links. Much appreciated!
Awesome! Thank you!

The free life?
rofl you old douchebag bring politics into a video about e bikes? stfu
Thank you. I haven’t researched 3” tires yet but I know Rad uses 3” on some of their bikes.I’m not sure if they are puncture resistant tho.
Can you do a video on how to correctly use a chain o luck your bike
Thank You for the suggestion. I may consider that in the future.
What would you show to identify the bike belongs to you? ( upon arrival of someone in authority ?)….
Thanks, but I'm wondering Why you changed out the stock 3.0 x 20" tires for the 4.0 x 20" tires?
I didn’t. This is the original 1.0 that came with 4” fat tires.
Great E-Bike Accessories review
How about a brighter headlight for the bike
Jeremiah, kindly provide link to blue reflective wheel accessory, and where i can purchase them , thank you Frank
Just open up the description of this video and all the links will be there. Please let me know if you need more help.
Great job with your updated review..... you’re kind of the MacGyver of the Lectric Bike guy😂🤠👍
Lol thank you David!
Thanks
Would a Kryptonite New York U-Lock be sufficient security for the step thru model? Where would be the best position to lock the bike with this?
I’m not sure if it would be big enough to go around the frame or not. If so it should work well however anything can be cut with a grinder but the bigger it is the longer it takes.
Do you happen to know the dimensions of the seat post? Can you get longer than factory?
I am waiting for my Lectric Xp 3.0 but I wanted to ask you about the rims that you have on you and your wife's bike, when did you change them to 20 x 4.0 rims?
They are the factory wheels and tires that came on the 1.0.
Excellent video! I have the Lectric XP Step thru as well. Your video serves as an excellent guide to items that I need. Thanks!
Thank You and You’re welcome. I’m Glad to help!
Great video showing the various items that are available to purchase for your eBike. I bought 2 of the RockBro bags because of your video. Thanks
Awesome. They are expensive but my favorite.
Very cool! Thank you for sharing.
thank you for the videos. We are ordering the new X2 with suspension. cant wait to use them. will be adding goodies from your list. appreciate the list.
My pleasure! Your going to love it!
Great presentation Jeremiah. I am torn between the Lectric &HimIway for my first e- bike I am a BIG GUY 300lbs
Start skipping breakfast and lunch. Will drop over 3 pounds a week.
The first to view, I feel special. I purchased two Lectric ebike s mainly because of your videos.👍
Lol thank you Robert! Welcome to the community and happy riding!
Thanks for your video, I wonder if you bought the B-Soul saddlebag for the cel phone in blue outline or you painted it that way? It appears they only come in neon green and red now.
I bought it that way.
@@JeremiahMcintosh How unfortunate they don't have that color anymore, it looks so bad ass. If you know where I can get that color it would be really appreciated. Thanks for the videos bro.
Thanks for sharing I like your upgrades you made ,It makes all enjoyable to adopt them in your personal bikes.
Where do I purchase vinyl to cover up the Electric words and change the color? Thanks
Lectric 2.0 baby.... :)
😁😁👍
I bought my xp white step thru.on june10 of June. And it now August 10 the. How much longer do you think it will take?
It’s hard to say. I would reach out to Lectric and they should be able to provide you with better information.
How did you get the handle bar extender to not slip?
what are the dimensions for the battery. I have a step thru on order with an extra battery. Will it fit into the bag you have on the bike?
Thank you Jeremiah for the amazing video. I have a question: what Co2 Cartridge do you recommend? Thanks.
The link for the one I recommended should be in the description of my video but I have been using a cordless tire inflator and really been liking it.
Hey J your not adding to much accessories you just go all in went you do something, keep on trucking dude people just hate, We share the same attitude about our toys.
Thanks Noel!
Good video, thanks for making it. What did you do about your kickstand? Mine is so long the bike stands almost full vertical, so it wants to blow over in a wind.
Nothing yet but I plan on trying to bend it out some in a vise.
Nice bike great job thanks for the review be blessed
How have the hydraulic brakes been holding up? I have been looking at doing the upgrade as well. Great videos keep up the good work.
Thank you. I only put them on the back so far but they have been holding up great and way easier for adjustments.
Jeramiah Thanks for the videos, One thing I need to know is whre did you get you bike fack for you electric bikes.
You’re welcome. Here is the fat tire bike rack I use and the link for it is in the description of the video. ruclips.net/video/HdIFijjhZSg/видео.html
Thanks for the great posts. I did the swept back handle bars, but I can't remove the post when folding for transport. Something I'm missing?
The seat post or the handlebar stem?
@@JeremiahMcintosh wow quick response. Handle bar stem.
For enough slack in the wires you may have to start folding it down first and turn it a specific way to be able to remove it.
Thanks didn't think of turning bars while folding down.. thanks for the help. Love the videos.
