I notice the Marantz was more detailed on the highs and a little less boomy on the bass, I can definitely hear a difference, I like the sound of the Marantz better.

    Fosi offers a 48v 5 amp power adapter, it got it when i purchased my v3 it helps a lot. 32v5amp 4ohm 100w 8ohm 50w / 48v5amp 4 ohm 230w 8 ohm 115w. its defiantly worth upgrading the power adapter.

All the TPA3255/51 amps are very similar in design. The difference lies on the components, more specifically the coupling capacitors and output filters( inductors and capacitors and bypass caps).
The original A07 and A04 which had better components did everything right except the output inductors. New designs like the Fosi V3 does everything mostly right. It's components are audio grade(not the highest grade Elna Silmic II, but a decent ones), but the output filters are very high quality. I wonder what would it be if the Fosi used the best coupling capacitors.
I recently got the new A04 with tone controls, and that design is very good. I'm planning on upgrade the coupling capacitors which are not the best ones or probably fake ones. A good Nichicon Fine Gold and Muse KZ will do.

As per my AKG K500s and my ears ,,, I hear the midrange and highs more pronounced and a tad harsher with the V3,, but I hear softer warmer highs and mids with the NR1200.. Which one do I prefer ? I’m going with the NR1200,, but having said that, the V3 is definitely worth it for the ridiculously low price 🤷‍♂️

A interest question is if we could parallell OR bridge connect both of the Internal chanels amplifier ?
When it is only a amp then by parallell or bridge it then we get a lot more power and one chanel speaker output. Then it will probably be a interesting unit for driving a passive subwoofer!
    But who knows this information?!

Thank you. Great sound comparison with a receiver. That's the test I was looking for. Everything running flat and at the same matching volume. As I discovered in most Fosi amps, the detail and separation and warmer bass come through on the Fosi. I may have missed it. And if so, I apologize. Was that test with the 48 Volt Power Supply? Thanks in advance.. You gained a subscriber and a like with this video. Just some future advice. You should use the same section of the song on each when doing a sound comparison. A different sections of songs sound quite different. Aside from that it was an excellent video. Thanks again.

I found the Marantz a bit too much "midrange forward" I think that would irritate me quickly, hearing that sound signature on my own music too. Seems to me that the amplifier price points each have a pretty clear first choice up to a pretty high level, with one exception:
    $65 Fosi V3
    $160 Aiyima T9 Pro
    $250 SMSL AL200
    $500 ????
    $850 Camridge CXA-61
    $1400 Naim Nait 5si
    $2000 Hegel ______
$3000 Hypex Nilai and matching preamp
So what's the category-killer in the $500 range? I had a Dared DV-6C that I loved but it was a really quirky piece, really only good for a person whose DVD player had analog outputs and who didn't want to run any other sources -- which was me at the time. But I never see reviews of amps (ChiFi or otherwise) in that price point.

Just my opinion, but I prefer the V3 over the aiyima t9 pro. You do get a dac and digital connections + Bluetooth on the t9. If you already have a standalone DAC I do believe the amplifier functionality of the V3 is better than the T9 pro's. Just my opinion.
