  • The Karcher Window Vac WV2 and all later models could be the best way to clean windows and clear window condensation. The Karcher Window vacuum is quite possibly one of the simplest but neatest little gadgets there is, and, probably the most unusual, but best xmas pressy I've ever had as an adult. What can I say, I've led a simple life and I'm also easily pleased ! The Karcher window vac is probably the best way to remove condensation from windows and mirrors. German made, you know it's gonna a be a decent build quality.

    • @MyTechTalks
      @MyTechTalks  3 года назад

      Absolutely. In fact this can be used to clean your windows providing they aren't too dirty. Mine came with a spray cleaner and a soft cloth squeegy. The idea is to wipe the spray on with the cloth squeegy and hoover it off with the vac. I saw a video on RUclips with a woman doing that. I guess you could use a sponge with soapy water and hoover it off with the vac? I'd be careful of dirt particles though potentially clogging the tubes to the water chamber that collects the water.

    Great video mate thank you, just what I was looking for! We get bad condensation and couldn’t find any video of it working on that until I came across yours. Nice, to the point and showing it being used in a variety of situations, brilliant. Ordered the WV2 plus on a cyber Monday deal from Amazon can’t wait to give it a whirl when it turns up. One question, is it still working well sideways? I’d need to use mine sideways to finish the bottoms of the windows off and just hope it works ok. Yours still good? Thanks mate.

    How do you clean the sqeegee blade from dust. I still get streaks on windows and could be from mark from rubber blade.

    • @MyTechTalks
      @MyTechTalks  4 месяца назад

      As you would anything else really tbh. Just run it under the tap. Also check the edge of the rubber blade to see if it's damaged at all, in which case there's not much you can really do other than replace the blade or the entire unit. If it is damaged have a look on Karcher website and have a chat with them or email them to see if the rubber squeegee can be replaced 🤞

    • @MyTechTalks
      @MyTechTalks  2 года назад

      Yes of course, but have you thought about using regular table salt instead? Leave it in a bowl and it absorbs moisture from the air! Rock salt is also used for this purpose with good effect. These methods help a lot but they won't completely cure window condensation though. Hope this helps.

    Why do you get condensation on your windows?

    • @MyTechTalks
      @MyTechTalks  3 года назад +1

      Are you asking for me personally or why does it happen? The answer to the first question is I get it a lot in a caravan that I own so the Karcher is great for that. The reason condensation occurs however, is due to two extreme temperatures contacting one another. Colder air outside reacting against warmer air inside 👍
