I hold this game close to my heart...we did the road trip with the rest of Dawg nation. I-5 was teaming with Husky fans, what a sight! At the end of this road trip, I got engaged! Today we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary! This Husky roster was impressive and the team ...powerful!

I feel blessed that I was able to attend this Rose Bowl (still have the UW 1992 Rose Bowl Sun Glasses and T-Shirt) and see them play against Cal & Stanford in 1991. One of the most under rated college teams of all time, this team had everything a run game, a passing game along with a awesome run and pass defense.

Don James was a Victim of a conspiracy of USC and UCLA and The PAC10.
How could Washington be so much better than the LA Schools. We need the LA schools to do well and get better TV Revenue. That way THEY are on Televisions and not some team from Seattle.
Hedges did NOT support Don James as she should have.

Without a doubt a phenomenon team but the 2001 Canes Defense might have something to say about that. William Joseph, Vince Wilfork, Jonathan Vilma, DJ Williams; Phillip Buchanan, Antrel Rolle, Mike Rumph, Ed Reed, Sean Taylor. But hell that 01 Canes team is the greatest all around college team of all time in my opinion

Wow, opening kick off. You forget just how fast Napoleon Kaufman was. Compare the opening kick off taken by Kaufman to the second half kickoff @9:00, taken by Wheatley. The difference in team speed is dramatic in those two kickoff plays. As a Husky grad living in LA in the early 90's I was lucky enough to attend all 3 of their Rose bowl appearances (91,92,93) during this run. Kaufman was just a freshman in this 92 game, but he was still the fastest man on the field. Also had the chance to see him against USC in the Coliseum and he was so much faster than anyone else it was fun to watch. BTW, the Huskies had 25 players off this team drafted into the NFL. One of the most dominant teams in Pac12 History. Average margin of victory for the season 41 to 9 (495 points scored to just 115 allowed). Oh and they had the previous year's Rose bowl MVP and future 3 time pro-bowl QB Mark Brunell coming off the bench all season.

These were the GREAT Husky teams. Don James teams. Hobert QB, could really run with the ball, yet was all-around solid since he could throw the pass. Napoleon Kaufman was running.
    Mario Bailey was truly awesome.
The depth of talent on that Offensive team was crazy. Mark Bruenell fills in and throws a TD pass.
Huskies had that game dominating defense that was really something to see in action.
