Action and stunts were great, movie lacked a story. I can’t even remember what it was about, and I watched it yesterday.
simple. they're just agent's want's to kill a badguys
billionaire recruits people who have witnessed terror in the world and how governments are to afraid to put a stop to these evil people so 6 - 7 people go in to do the dirty work most are to afraid to do themselves and kill those who have no remorse for human life, and the no names and faked deaths are so they can not be traced back to family members which would otherwise be used against them. So that is pretty much the summary of an amazing action movie that has a better story than you would think.

Anyone else noticed how he used an old soundtrack from 13 hours?
Take your favorite previous car chase put it on steroids add some insane crazy ideas and you end up with 6 Underground's epic car chase in Florence, Italy.
Just as an experiment, I'd love to see Michael Bay direct a sober quiet and nuanced two character relationship piece with still composed setups in lingering single camera takes. I really think he'd discover something new about the elegant power of minimalistic simplicity. Just to prove to himself that he could do it, and then that confidence might carry through to not always relying on the frenetic bag-of-tricks he's already taken to its zenith of utility.
Alternatively, I think Roger Deakins should shoot a full on Bayhem spectical on multiple constant unmotivated roaming cameras at varying motion time frame-rates with flaring anamorphic lenses. Because I think outside his totally opposite comfort zone, he'd discover a new appreciation for that complexity worth carrying with him too.
Just an experiment to challange their filmmaking dogmas by pointedly attempting to achieve their contrary discipline in earnest.

I think bay should've been given a longer run-time for this one like his other films, cause the car chase was great and lots of fun but was edited a bit too choppily.
fast cut like in music videos was always his style. 2. u cant always stay at one line ---! move on, u need to learn and expirement with new stuff. and bay killed it in this movie with the fast cut. also how u gonna do a 20min chase scene trough florence without boring the viewer.. by doing longer car shots? nah if u want long shots, go watch mission impossible. michael is the new generation of action movie, the sound design is incredible as well, its unique which u dont hear often.
and if u feel like wtf is this guy talking, thhan u might consider watching the movie a few more times and focus on certein parts before commenting :) have a nice day
