What a pile of old crap they keep making. Recasting women in roles and storylines men have done dozens of times over and Sonic. It's like script writers and producers imaginations have ceased to exist.
True, watching both sexes play shit roles is annoying at this point.
Seems like every movie industry has gone out of ideas.
Indian movies too are remaking and re-releasing old hit films.
Very few original films do come but the audience seems to be hooked to the old commercial mixture.

@@simplylethul Maybe if they would be a bit more accurate on how women get power and how they use it, the girl boss scheme would be less cringe. When Hollywood is trying to sell a female character as physically strong or stronger than men, its a bit cringe. The best movies are the ones that are believable. This is why so many new movies flop at the box office. Nobody wants to pay a premium for subpar acting and stretches of storyline that border on farce.

Women simply cannot beat up highly trained professional assassins. I know one exception is Scarlett Johansson. There have been a few others. With men it is barely believable - with women it is asking too much of our imaginations. Women leads are great for women stories. Lifetime is full of them.
