I've been shocked how many who can pick their EDC are choosing this gun over 365's, Shield Plus', HC's, etc. Taurus did a great job on this offering. Thanks for the Drop Tests!
It's a chassis gun that's why the rails are like that. They will not separate from the polymer cuz that whole piece is removable and you can buy other grips from Taurus and Mischief Machine. Only difference between the gx4 and the XL is slide, barrel, and spring length. Only difference between the XL and carry model is the grip size.
I love my gx4 hasn't had my problems and I'm just under 700 rounds. Lakeline also makes an entire line of aftermarket market parts for the gx4 series. If you liked the gx4 i recommend checking out the gx4 carry it's better in every way.
@@graydogllcreally now? I have a dagger compact and it’s been a great gun and I’ve owned and carried everything from pps m2, ss mr920, pdp etc etc. I can’t imagine Taurus has any worse qc than psa lol. Only upside to psa is the ease of finding parts. The gx4 feels amazing in the hand.

@@cohoonatube I was shocked! But between what Kirk has experienced and our tests, I am becoming a fan!
@@graydogllcTaurus like most have QC issues but that seemed to turn with the G2 the do make good guns I’ve owned several and have one now GX4 Carry
@ThatManDave can't complain about this model for sure, it punches above its price range.
Well done!
I like the transparency and the self-deprecating humor.
Thanks! We try not to take ourselves too seriously!
Love the outfits, guys. Y'all abused the heck out of that gun.
@@dmhiix thanks! I was honestly surprised that it did as well as it did!

For you pedants 🤣🤣🤣luv it. Great test.
Great drop-test session!
Also dropping the gun onto a piece of paper will stop the cement from scratching the gun but it isn't thick enough to prevent a drop fire.
Kirk wasn't too worried about scratches. We will keep it in mind for the future!
👍🏽👍🏽
Now should compare the gx4 carry and the dagger micro c1
Honestly I don't know that there would be a huge difference in terms of functionality and reliability.
@@graydogllcthat’s totally fair… maybe I was selfishly wanting to see two guns I’m back n forth on lol.
@@graydogllcwelll, I guess now I’m wondering which do you prefer the dagger micro or the gx4 line of guns?
@Samyouell11510 I think I may prefer the Taurus.

Shouldn't it be "impact safe"?
Seems like it is!
