I had a fawn Bouvier who died of cancer when he was 14 years old. It was about 15 years ago but he still visits me in my dreams. He was a wonderful companion and I still miss him.
@@MsDrobertson522 They lose their undercoat thin hair individually you can't even see them. They float in the air and you never notice them unless they're in your mouth. The rough overcoat she sheds it in small knots. You can easily see them and pick them up. Usually that means the dog could use a brushing. Brushing they need often, and it's rather time consuming. In the Canadian winter we keep her coat long and it takes forever to cut through that thick bush with the cut-brush. Still worth it. She's everything you can ever ask of a dog.

@@PetiPolk that's very true I have a half Bouvier and a Catahoula Leopard dog...a puppy so intelligent and very loving . However I am not a novice to the dog world Much training is mandatory.

Your Bouv is adorable. I'm blessed with a now 12 year old rescue Bouv that's the love of my life right now. Best dogs.

can't find a good kennel in belgium/netherlands who has a male Bouvier that would be good for IPO or other training, a workdog so to say.

Much training is mandatory.
It seems like in the 70's it was all Bouviers and GSDs, now you hardly see bouviers anymore. Such a shame as they are amazing dogs.
