I lifted in my 20's and gained muscle so fast people swore I was on PEDs (I wasn't, nor would I ever take any). Life happened, stopped lifting for like 20 years. Went back to the gym in my 40's, started lifting again, and all my muscle from when I was in my 20's came back very quickly.
I just hit 40. I am going to build my own workout equipment soon. I feel like I can get everything back that I had in my mid twenties and actually be better than I was. Why do people shout steroids on every impressive physique, starting to sound like excuses to justify why their body isn't as impressive , It would be really weird to assume jake is on steroids, he is clearly not.
You never know with Hollywood because the time frame is super short But sure thing that this is totally doable on your own and you don't even need to be that drastic over your training
Jeff is the best trainer/physio in the world. I follow his advice im in good shape & 57 this year(pics can be sent if you want 😂). ALL celebrities should be ripped as wealth buys time, training, advice, etc .
Question, what about the cast of the first 300 film? I've heard they went through a very tough training program developed and supervised by a top mountain climber who would make them do a different exercise each time. Could that have worked?
All I remember is that those guys were shredded. Gerard Butler hated the extremely difficult workouts and strict diet routines. He was glad to have finished that movie and go back to his “normal” self.
You people mistake leaner for bigger, juiced up would make him really big, even in southpaw his muscle mass is very much attainable , he is just really well defined because he is really low on bodyfat
Try being 40 or 50 and then call yourself natural when you gain tons of muscle in 1 month or 2 and before you respond I’ve seen normal folk with better diets that were never built like this naturally in their 40s
If he was all year around in great shape I could say he is natural, but his transformation from one movie to the next is huge! 😅 I would say a light cycle, emphasising on cutting! Nothing extreme
Seems like a reasonable physique thats no doubt possible with proper diet, training and rest. At most probably TRT. Hes also one of those guys whos always been pretty slim so its easier to get that definition
You can tell when people abuse steroids, it sticks out like a sore thumb, but if they got someone to keep an eye on how much to give them it’s not as noticeable, they did take a little something , something
As much as I can say he was natty, I see a bit just a bit of Clen being used may be 10mg the guy has a great physique but I feel a fat burner or diuretic Last 3 weeks of hard work. Might have made it shine. Just like Zac
I don't think Jeff's argument holds. Yes he cut down from 205 but mass is not muscle mass. He doesn't look very muscular in that photo, so he still had to gain significant muscle next to cutting lots of weight. Not unattainable, especially given the muscle memory from previous roles. But I don't see any clear indications that he did or did not use steroids.
Exactly. From Southpaw (2015) on he's stayed in shape. It's not like it was a drastic difference. The guy he portrayed, Jeff Bauman, for the movie Stronger (2017) said in their interviews Jake is constantly working out, he was always training. Some people are just really physical by nature. Jake is one of them. He climbed Mt. Everest ffs...
He's built but the thing that makes him look like he does in the movie is weight cutting. The muscle is the same, he just cut down all fat and probably cut water weight too for many of the shirtless scenes. That way he just looks ultra shredded.
Not all steroids make you bulk/bloat or put on a ton of muscle … some are used just to shred fat + increase muscle slightly to give the exact look he has …
Most of y’all don’t work out or haven’t long enough - increased protein intake, cardio, and one of the biggest things is muscle memory makes it easier to get in shape
so Tom Holland had a video where he was working out with Jake. Holland who is younger is dieing from the workout. So it kinda would matter what kind of workout he's traininng, certain workouts intensities are tough to pull off without being on steroids. Increasingly so as you get over 30 to 40 years old. But yes its possible. Alan Ritchson said he originally trained natural to get his Reacher body. He then said he started either trt or steroids because its too hard to keep up at his age. Its possible probably for Jake to be natural. But he also probably dehydrated himself for his shirtless shots like other male actors have done in super hero roles. Which also, mma and boxers, wrestlers dehydrate themselves before weigh ins and then they give a good flex pose for the camera.

Good luck with the progress bro 💪.
I have 1 month and 2 weeks this Friday I am taking photos and videos of myself every month to see the changes naturally,I am eating half junk food half healthy I want to see what I can do in 2 years how I am going to look and going to know is that obtainable or not.
I have a friend who spent 10k on a abdominoplasty. I can swear it looks exactly the same. They remove subcutaneous fat, reinject a fluid and put some kind of dividing lines to mark more. The result was exactly that. I don't know if this is the case or not, but personally I am struck by the volume of such marked abs with a not-so-low percentage of fat.
+ isn't it typical to have a more symmetrical body, if you are not natural? If you are, then you can see uneven abs, chest or other parts of the body, which occurs for Jake Gyllenhaal.
@@bigb3598 , yeah, that is what I mean. It is a natural thing. And, if you used steroids, they would be more symmetrical. Steroids cause symmetry in muscles. At least, I heard it somewhere on RUclips from those "Naty or not" videos.
He doesn’t look like that jacked. It’s really more about being lean and defined in this role. He basically did a ton of training and probably did a gradual cut to avoid losing too much muscle
People who say it's natural never trained hard enough. You'll end up looking super skinny and shredded or big and bloated. And you are in your 40th and look like that and natural please for the love of god take a photo of yourself because image in the mirror usually quite misleading
Using PED's to Cut down while maintaining muscle mass, let alone increasing muscle mass is more common than it is to just bulk up. Putting your body in a catabolic state while making anabolic gains.... totally normal.
This is absolutely attainable but not all steroids are to gain mass and such but for example like bpc 157 he’s probably on some stuff but nothing crazy
Look at his shoulders, you don't see too capped out shoulders , that's how you can tell he is natural. But he must have taken some injectibles for cutting down water before shooting ig.
This idea that he wouldn't use PEDs for a role is honestly way more unbelievable. Why wouldn't he? If I was the director I would be pissed if an actor didn't give maximum effort for a role.
Shoulders/traps dont look like gear shoulders and traps. So i think he achieved it naturally. Which would be pretty easy to do when its legit psrt of your job and you can afford the best trainers and dietitians
Damn, I looking at jake and I'm jealous. The guy look great, great actor and also dedicated to the point of willing to transform his body. By the way he my favorite actor as well.
People think you need PEDs for this body are the people who have never played a sport properly. My body literally goes like this just going through my boxing training before a fight. Don't have a problem with it I just wish especially the Hollywood crowd just admit it, if I had to get into brilliant shape in short time and got paid millions I would one hundred percent use anything, but the messaging can be counter productive everyone knows how hard it is to get in decent shape especially lean mass and low body fat and can give false hopes I think that's why alot of people lift for a month , expect a Michael B Jordan creed transformation and then quit as expectations way to high to begin with... and " chicken and broccoli" dosent make you superman after 8 weeks lol. Good luck with the progress bro 💪.
I love the way Jake looks, very athletic. So much better than any bodybuilder.
There are tons of people that look better than him, especially athletes you just haven’t seen enough
I have 1 month and 2 weeks this Friday I am taking photos and videos of myself every month to see the changes naturally,I am eating half junk food half healthy I want to see what I can do in 2 years how I am going to look and going to know is that obtainable or not.
Having a physique like that would make you think natural
The fact he is a famous Hollywood actor makes me think JUICE
I have a friend who spent 10k on a abdominoplasty. I can swear it looks exactly the same. They remove subcutaneous fat, reinject a fluid and put some kind of dividing lines to mark more. The result was exactly that.
I don't know if this is the case or not, but personally I am struck by the volume of such marked abs with a not-so-low percentage of fat.
Indeed
+ isn't it typical to have a more symmetrical body, if you are not natural? If you are, then you can see uneven abs, chest or other parts of the body, which occurs for Jake Gyllenhaal.
Uneven abs can definitely just be genetics, I have uneven abs as well and I never touched steroids in my life.
@@bigb3598 , yeah, that is what I mean. It is a natural thing. And, if you used steroids, they would be more symmetrical. Steroids cause symmetry in muscles. At least, I heard it somewhere on RUclips from those "Naty or not" videos.
Def on primo or some drying agent. I’d bet my life
He doesn’t look like that jacked.
What do you think about Zac Efron in The Iron Claw????
It doesn't matter if someone is on juice or not. It's not our business to ask or know. Let it be
If he ACTUALLY took roids for this.. he would’ve been even more bricked up! Dude was shredded and tight in the film. Hats off
Most of the people blaming actors and athletes physiques on PEDs can't do more than 5 push ups. The key is consistency and diets.
This is absolutely attainable but not all steroids are to gain mass and such but for example like bpc 157 he’s probably on some stuff but nothing crazy
Yep
Yes. I just saved you 60 seconds of life
I’d say he’s natural, if anything maybe trt or something to help with endurance during training.
People forget steroids aren't only used for muscle building.
Look at his shoulders, you don't see too capped out shoulders , that's how you can tell he is natural. But he must have taken some injectibles for cutting down water before shooting ig.
I can look like this in a year if I worked hard enough. Actually within 4 months I already look good.
Where’s my sequel to Bubble Boy?
This idea that he wouldn't use PEDs for a role is honestly way more unbelievable. Why wouldn't he? If I was the director I would be pissed if an actor didn't give maximum effort for a role.
He's definitely juiced
Shoulders/traps dont look like gear shoulders and traps.
So i think he achieved it naturally. Which would be pretty easy to do when its legit psrt of your job and you can afford the best trainers and dietitians
Damn, I looking at jake and I'm jealous. The guy look great, great actor and also dedicated to the point of willing to transform his body. By the way he my favorite actor as well.
We couldn't tell

@@blacklight4720 ;) Just yanking your chain, buddy. Jake's cool!
@@blacklight4720 Just yaking your chain, buddy. ;) Jake's cool for sure!
People think you need PEDs for this body are the people who have never played a sport properly. My body literally goes like this just going through my boxing training before a fight. My friend who plays tennis always looks like this at the end of summer after competing in amatuer tournements all summer. People are so out of touch with reality atm.
It can't be this easy for sure ...
Possibly just TRT and a caloric def
He looks awesome does it matter that he is natty or not
Yes
Lean looks big with your shirt off
Do alex's body from the new crow movie
He looks cut af. Yall remember Southpaw? He was cut amazingly too
Dang, even Athlean X has jumped on to natty or not wave.
fighters can look natural but be blasting
Boss level 💯 %. Hard work and dedication. Forget the sauce.
