@@TheBonsaiGarden Everyone kills their first tropical (or 2). You just need the right species for your environment and lifestyle. The big difference for me was setting up grow lights. Everyone lived happily ever after when I did that..
Jay, One is an Elaeagnus angustifolia (Russian Olive) grown from a seed collected at Ray’s last year in the fall and the other is a conifer seeding that grew in my yard.

I could have sent you some of that from myy fence...and trees...and garden waste bin. It is such a pain and so invasive over here. It is so much better when you get a tree that has a history for you. I love that final oval pot. I may struggle to get to the sale because the trains are on strike :)
