My 1st visiting AU was 1992. And I was surprised her beautiful sight and great green plains.
And always there it is still now.
    Thank you your streams.

Wish I was there. Blue sky & lovely clouds, so peaceful. Thanks for filming Road journey back to Farm, good to see the countryside. Didn’t know wombats made such big holes. I’ve been to Lithgow to a glow worm tunnel, it was a lovely walk from car park to tunnel, but didn’t stop in the town. Hope you enjoyed your stay and thanks for sharing it with us.

It was great. Yeh there are lots of glow worm colonies in and around the Blue Mountains. The one I went to many years back was an old rail tunnel I think. Thanks for watching. 🙏

Australian countryside is distinctive. With our gum trees, it's instantly recognisable 🇦🇺 😀 Nice tour 👍

It sure is. Last time I was on that farm it was 40degc during the day and freezing at night. The Aussie extremes. Thanks for watching. 🙏

Hey HW, always nice to have a getaway and that area looks fantastic! Green rolling hills.. wide open spaces. Love it! Writing this to you from Jamaica in the Caribbean and I think I found some of the best coffee in the northern hemisphere. The local beans are called Blue Mountain and they are really rich and smooth. Hope you had a great getaway. Cheers!

Jamaica nice. I just read up about that Blue Mountain coffee. Supposedly they transplanted it from Ethiopia. Ethiopia grows some of the best. So I believe you.

That looked very inviting and peaceful, great to get away from time to time. Is that the same speed driver like in an older vid? 😂. Well your favourite autumn season has started there and my favourite spring started here. 😅Thanks for another great vid. Have a wonderful week!

Yeh it was great out there. I hadn’t been there for 6 years. The last time I was there I camped and it was 40degc during the day and freezing cold at night. The weather was much more stable this time.

Hey country boy! It’s nice out west loved the drive though I didn’t get to Bathurst I stopped at Lithgow via Katoomba on my way to Kandos for a friends wedding. Was an interesting time, loved it though I was always continuous of a possible encounter with a roo on the road especially late afternoon. Hope you had a fab time with the family mate. Thanks for sharing. P 😊

Yeh man. I wouldn’t mind a parcel of land out there. Maybe a little holiday farm or even just a recreational plot. With all the land Oz has, it’s outrageous how much they charge. Not easy to get.

Yea it’s the same over here everyone’s into small plots with a tiny home and it’s fine if you can find a piece of turf that doesn’t break the bank. Keep looking something will pop up

    Hi HW,
Thank you for sharing your day off in the countryside. It looked so peaceful, where you were staying.
Did you see any wildlife, apart from the wombat dens?
Weather here has been warm.slightly cold in the mornings, but summer is on its way for us in England.

Looks as though you had a nice break away from Sydney. Fantastic country around there. My wife's relos lived in Kenthurst and took us to Katoomba and surrounding countryside ( as well as Castle Hill RSL which was a great night out). Still not sure why you have to live more than 5 miles from an RSL though. We were asked when signing in, where we lived, I said the UK and the guy said, ok, just outside the boundry then. Strange.

    • @hwtours
      @hwtours  3 месяца назад +1

Wow some big properties in Kenthurst. Yeh with the RSL’s you’re expected to be a member of your local one within that distance. If not you need to find a friend who can sign you in. The last one I was a member of was Paddington RSL. That was many moons ago,
