Thank you HW. Absolutely love the Aussie beaches. Just as I remember them. Thank you again. Wishing you and your family a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year for 2025. Look forward to seeing what you have in store for your 2025 tours 🎉🎉
@@deborahwalton4508 Appreciate you watching. You have a good Christmas and New Year also.
Hello, "HW Tours"! I enjoyed watching it very much! Thank you for showing us such a wonderful landscape! And thank you for the very beautiful video! I look forward to your future works! Have a nice day!
@@libmananchannel Thank you 🙏
Hi HW. I've been a bit busy, so I haven't even watched the Melbourne vid yet. Have a great Christmas and New Year.
@@daveg2104 No worries. You have a good one too.
Season greetings from cold Norway. Long time watcher, first time commenter. Myself and the old man love watching your videos. No fancy edits, just HW with a camera (mostly) walking around giving his commentary. We both also agree that one of the key things that makes your videos so great, is the lack of editing/censoring. "Bad" words are left in, wrong words the same... kinda like how it works in real life conversations. This makes your videos feel more authentic. We've been to OZ six(!) times between 2000 and 2016, 3 times to Sydney. It's not exactly the cheapest way to spend your holidays, but we kinda fell in love with the country on our first visit. We've been planning a sort of "last trip" for a while, as old age sets in, but holy moly the prices of travel and accommodation have just become insane lately! Good thing we have the trusted HW to take us along old Sydney town, while we try and figure things out. 😁 Anyways, I just wanted to leave some words. Merry Christmas to you and yours, and we look forward to more videos to come in the new year. 🎄🎅
@ChrisSvendsen Thank you 🙏. Appreciate you watching my vids. You’re not wrong on the prices of travel. It’s outrageously expensive. You have done well to visit Sydney so many times. I really need to get over to Norway one day. I’ve been to Denmark and Sweden but didn’t venture into Norway. I have a good percentage of Norwegian blood too. So I should check it out. All the best to you guys for Christmas and New Years. Cheers HW
Back when I was a kid in the '70's, me and some mates would go rock hopping from the Northern end of Coogee to about halfway to Gordon's Bay. We'd catch crabs along the way, then turn around and go back to Coogee. Looking back, it was a dangerous thing to do, but as kids, we didn't really consider the consequences. At least nowadays, most kids have smartphones. I remember being able to park along that sandstone wall, back when parking was free. Anyhow, best wishes to you & the family, and looking forward to seeing your vids next year. Looks like the Chooks might struggle next year... 🐓🐓🐓 Jim.
@@evogardens Yeh I did that walk and climb over the rocks a few times. Not easy in some spots. Thanks for watching and have a great Christmas.
Merry Christmas fella thanks for the great contents 👍

Nice beach ⛱️..last video of 2024 ??🤔 I heard they might cancel NYE fireworks 🎆 at Sydney Harbour??🤔 ..here in Canada 🇨🇦 it's gonna be warm Christmas (by Canadian standards) -3c for high temperature🌡 That's the beach I saw on post card when you were at Martin Place Christmas Market! Love the Norfolk Pines ..they look like our Canadian pine tree's sort of !
@@kellygunner7625 They won’t cancel the fireworks. Just propaganda to put pressure on the unions. Minus 3 at your joint does sound too warm. The Norfolk Pine is a glorious tree. They get shipped all over the world these days. Some shamefully get wasted as Christmas trees each year, dying after being painted green. Thanks for watching and have a great Christmas and New Year.
Hey HW...why don't you just rub it in!! LOL. Nice warm beach day! 77F is a perfect. Can't wait until we warm back up here! Thanks for a look at summer. Great walkway along the beach. Hi HW, great video to end 2024 with the sun shining and an iconic Aussie beach scene. Thanks for all the tours for the last twelve months and looking forward to the next. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year HW to you and your family and also to all your subscribers.
@@vinbar35 Cheers Vince. Thought the beach might cheer you northerners up. I’m guessing by now you must have rain, cold and grey skies or maybe all of the above. Seasons greetings to you too. What’s on the cards at your joint? A few lagers or wine with a cooked lunch maybe.
Well it's the winter solstice today and so the shortest day of the year for us up north. Having said that, it's a little cloudy with some blue sky but chilly with a bit of a breeze. All in all, from all the storms we've had lately we can't complain: though we almost certainly will. 😂. Not too much, if anything to drink at the moment as a further trip to see my mum on Christmas eve, spending Christmas day with her and my sister and her husband then back here late afternoon where we can chillax and at that point there will undoubtedly be a few alcoholic beverages consumed 😊
@ Haha fair enough. Enjoy your Christmas tucker and booze after your trek.
@hwtours will do.
@vinbar35 hi from Canada 🇨🇦..we got quite a bit of snow ❄️ for Christmas 🎄 and 26°f for a high which is warm considering avg high here is 10°f and some Christmases we woke up to -22°f !
Hi HW, Thank you for taking us to the beach. It was so nice to see the waves roll on to the beach, really cheered me up for Christmas. I am on my Christmas break from work and go back on January 6th, 2025, yes, the schools have broken up for the festive season. I look forward to seeing them upon return of work. The pine trees look really majestic, it will give much welcomed shade on the hotter days of summer. It is mild here, lots of brisk winds that take your umbrella off in to air! I hope you and your family, also the family dog, have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. The snow hasn't arrived yet, as forecast, but it may happen in Scotland, as they have colder temperatures. 🎅🎄⛱️❄️🙏
@@carollizzi6494 Yeh no worries. I will have to get down there when the next storm rolls in. Show you some real waves. I can see the pines copping some complaints eventually. People will lose views and sun bathers will lose sun. Thanks for watching and enjoy your Christmas. Fingers crossed for the snow.

@@JL-jr9gk Thank you for coming back each vid. All the best to you and yours for the holidays too.
I literally just watched the Melbourne video and then I saw this Coogee one in my feed. Of course, my heart jumped because this is my old stamping ground, This area is in my soul. We used to call Gordon's Bay, Thompson's Bay. Thanks for all the wonderful videos this year, HW. All the best to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year.
Yeh I have always run with Gordons as it was the first name the Europeans gave it. Mr Thompson named it after himself later. It's pretty crazy to think that the Bay was included in the estate that sat above called "Cliff-Brook". You have a great Christmas also.
Beautiful Coogee beach action. Thanks HW. Sydney shining brightly. Hope you and your family have a safe and peaceful festive season. Cheers…
Thanks for watching. Hope you and your mob have a great Christmas also.
It took me over a week to watch this one, HW. I saw it was from Melbourne, and being a dyed-in-the-wool Sydneysider, I hesitated. I didn't think I'd like it, but it was delightful. I've heard some people say that St. Kilda is the King's Cross of Melbourne. I don't know how much truth there is in that. Of course, the Cross has tamed down a lot and is no longer what it used to be, Thanks- a very interesting video. Happy Christmas and New Year to you and your family.
@@glenemma1 Thanks for getting through it. Yeh St Kilda used to be quite rough back in the old days. But like many other suburbs close to the city it’s been gentrified. You have a good Christmas too.

Hey HW! great walkabout sharing you memoirs loved it. ISP man eh! My last visit to Bourke St Mall was Nov 9 2018 the day of the terrorist attack, my partner and I were shopping there and stayed in Little Collin’s. Sisto Malaspina from Pellegrini’s, perhaps you ate there, was fatally wounded and died at the scene was tragic. Will always remember that visit and Sisto. I remember walking down Lygon too back in the day and waiters singing Italian songs out front was amazing. Thanks for the vids throughout the past year, have a great Christmas with your family mate, stay safe and all the best for 2025. 😊P
@@logocafe7624 It’s sad I barely recall that event you speak of. I seem to remember the car attack more. Must have been a bit scary for you guys. I hope you saw a few of your own walking routes. Thanks for watching and all the best to you for Christmas also. Cheers HW
Hi HW, nice vid seeing some of your old stomping grounds. We managed to find a free shuttle bus at the airport that took us right to the door of our hotel on Flinders. Maybe that's stopped now but $40 return seems a pretty good deal. I had no idea that they start putting up the grandstands for the GP so early. I've been to three British and one Belgian Grands Prix, great atmosphere but way too expensive now.
@@vinbar35 Free transfer. You did well. I sat up in those stands with a view of the Ferrari pit back in the day. Luckily I was a guest and didn’t have to fork out any coin. I can tell you Albert park almost ended me on this tour. I had forgotten how big it was and got caught in the sun and feet also came up with huge blisters. A real walkathon.
Taking one for the team, what a trooper! We all appreciate you going the extra yard. Did you walk the whole circuit, if so then that would be quite a trek. I don't think that those that have never been to a GP realise how long it can take to walk around a race track. The cars go around pretty quickly but they can travel a little faster than us on foot.
@ A good portion of it before I realised the lake was still there.
@hwtours So we can expect a couple of driving videos next then, lol.
@ Nup. But now you mention it. That time when Lewis Hamilton got caught driving a Mercedes sedan on the circuit in Melbourne comes to mind. It was prior to the race when it was still operating as a normal public road. Naughty naughty.
Thank you. Really enjoyed seeing your day in Melbourne .

Hi HW, Thank you for a great video about Melbourne. I hope you had lots of good memories, as you walked around the city. The coffee looked good, the only question I have to ask is Sydney's coffee better than Melbourne's? The weather here is mild, cold and wet, the weather forecasters are prediticting a white Christmas. Let's hope that it snows when everyone is safely home on Christmas Eve. Hey, how is the family dog getting on, I think you call him Jet, I have such a bad memory for names? Have a good weekend and hoping you and your family are ready for Christmas in the sun. 🙏☀️🎄🎅
@@carollizzi6494 Good ones and dud ones. Both cities can thank the Greeks and Italians for the good coffee. Sydney has caught up with Melbourne in the coffee stakes. Hi HW, Thank you for a lovely Christmas video. I felt like I was there, especially the lighting of the tree. The market was looking good with all those delicious food to eat. I didn't see any mulled wine there. I liked the funky bag stall the best. It is amazing what you can make from a recycled plastic bottle. When I was younger, we had a fairy on top of the tree. @hwtours thanks, will do and I don't blame you. Oh, incidentally, driving home early Wednesday morning, I stopped off at a service station for a nectar and when it came I gave it the ' the flat white has arried' in true HW style. The lady serving me gave me a very strange look lol.
Great video HW. Looks like you had an enjoyable time surrounding by such festivities. Definitely looks like its worth the time and braving the rain to watch some fireworks and lights illuminate the tree. The people of Sydney must be proud and happy judging by all the mobiles recording the occasion. Cant wait for you to do NYE and Xmas in the city again next year.
@@Thanioti Thanks for watching. It was super busy. But worth the wait in the end.
Nice haul from the Crypto conference; hope the choccy's didn't melt ! I never really considered Crypto, although when people made all that money on it years ago, I was tempted. I got into Gold & Silver back in 2019. Bought some from a Bullion dealer in Hunter St. Gold was at $1,830.00 aud, and Silver at $22.20....nowadays, both are more than double that. 32:20 Was that Flat White happy to see you...or was it giving you the finger ? 😆 🔴⚪️🔵 Jim.
@@evogardens Hey Jim. The chocs didn’t melt much luckily. You and Robert Kiyosaki on the precious metals. You’re right about the flat white it could have been a few different shapes. Thanks for watching.
Beaut weather! CC not something that peaked my curiosity but interesting especially the young guns milking it and building empires before their demise. But yea it’s not all bad there are many success stories. What better way to entice that demographic by putting a McClaren on the floor. Was waiting for you to take that bull on mate lol!!! anyway thanks for the walkabout HW. P 😊
@@logocafe7624 Haha I saw how slippery it was and gave it a miss. Low percentage football. Thanks for watching.
Hi HW, Love the video. It wasn't your day in the city, especially the coffee shops closed, until the cup of coffee eventually. I think you deserved a bigger cup of coffee, after the delay. I have a free cup of a flat white when I go Christmas shopping soon, saved that drink until then. I have been to work all this week in snow and ice, then the rain fell and washed it away. Love the snow, but not when it turns to ice! Love the sunshine in the video. It warms me up, thank you. Are you ready for Christmas? Have a good week 🎄🙏👍
@@carollizzi6494 Yep I got a coffee in the end. We are having a mini heatwave here and it’s not officially summer yet. I’d love some of that snow. I’m actually ahead of schedule on Christmas prep this year. Enjoy your flat white and have a good week.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
@@MarkYoung-k3o Tether. I’m not your man. Hopefully you went to the ICC today and spoke to an expert.
Nice work as usual HW. The Greek restaurant that used to be on the corner of Rowe and Pitt was called 1821. MIM by 1821 is on Pitt (south of Rowe).
@@jenniferkivovitch5904 That’s the one. Thanks for confirming.
I couldn't be further away from the Southern Hemisphere summer..snow expected tonight thru Monday..temperatures to fall to -16c by Monday..cant believe its almost time for the Christmas 🎄 vid again..definitely looks like like say ..Summer has arrived! I hear its supposed to be 36 or 37c in Western suburbs 😮🥵
@@kellygunner7625 I’ll swap you. I’d love a few weeks of snow. You’re right the Western regions of NSW get blasted with heat in the summer months. Suburbs out west they build tonnes of large houses with black tiled roofs and the developers are allowed to build them right next to each other. It’s not good. They become real heat zones.
Hi HW, the crypto exhibition reminds me of a funfair: lots of games but no real prizes to be won. Also, it looks like the age old scam of giving average Joe the illusion that they can get rich by "just do a little mining" but the reality is the days of just leaving your pc running have long gone. I hate to think how much you'd need to fork out on gear to do that now. Anyway, so I'm typing this looking out at my garden covered in snow - not at all jealous of 28C+ temp there, lol.
@@vinbar35 You’ve got snow already. Wow. You’re right about mining. Large scale operations only. Thanks for watching.
@hwtours Yeah, all morning yesterday but mostly gone by teatime and turned to rain so all gone, around me at least, when I got up this morning at 7.00am. We don't get much before Christmas usually except maybe Scotland and it doesn't hang around much. Jan & Feb can be bad on rare occasions. Anyway, I'm happy it's just raining now as I'm off to see mum in about an hour - 250 miles give or take a few yards - and so it will be an easier drive in rain as opposed to snow, ice, slush and people who have difficulty in driving in snowy conditions. If you never hear from me again...............
@@vinbar35 I drove around a lot of the British Isles in the 2000s. England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I was shocked at how fast you folk drive in the wet. In Oz we lose about 20km off the limit in the wet. Real driving Miss Daisy sh#t. Have a safe trip up to your mums. Hope you’re gonna grab a takeaway nectar along the way.
@hwtours A lot of people here have the mindset that if the sign says 70mph then I'm going to 70 whatever the conditions; and that's just the one's that recognise the speed limits in the first place. Anyway, thanks I'm taking my time and will defo be calling in somewhere on the way.
Sounds of summer at the start of the video. Love it! Your interruptions at the station remind me of the airport. I need to learn more about Crypto...don't really understand it. Looks like a great summer day for you. Another great looking flat white. Enjoy the rest of your weekend HW.
@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue Yeh the cicadas are going off. The other day they set off just after midnight. Wasn’t great. Thanks for watching.
