This series of daily walks around Sydney has helped me change our plans for our first OZ trip, really helpful. May do SCG for the Sheffield Shield Cricket on Sunday, Manly on Saturday and Blue mountains Monday.
@@edwardjones7065 That sounds like a good plan. The last time I saw a state team play at SCG was a friendly between NSW and West Indies. I still remember being shocked at the pace of the fast bowlers. PS: If you’re staying in the City. You can catch the light rail up to the ground.
Hi HW, Sunday is definetly fun day. Love Luna Park, if only my back would let me try the hammer and all similar rides! I have been on the hair raiser, a long time ago. Never again! I felt every movement of your ride on the slide. Reality TV at its best. The coffee and cheese cake looked delicious, shame it wasn't dairy free. Never seen a dairy free cheesecake yet Thank you for showing us the seven days delights of Sydney. 🙏
Enjoyed the look at each day of the week HW. My conclusion is that Sydney looks like a really nice place to live. Flat rate for the trains? What a great idea. Have a great week. We are on the road again.
@@briandawson8236 I’m glad. For me it brought back memories of burning my face on the Coney Island slides. Can’t believe I did it again. Fell right onto my side on the first bump. Hahaha 🤣
This was my favourite video out of this 7-day marathon. I remember before the pandemic, family fun day used to cost around $2-$3 a day. I've never been to Coney island in my life. Those old amusement machines were very cool. Hats off to you for walking around the city & harbour last Sunday in those blustery freezing winds; it was brutally cold. I went to a flea market last Sunday, and stuff was flying everywhere..clothes racks blowing down, glass ornaments smashing...we lasted 30 minutes there and just had to leave. It was even too cold to do our usual walk along Brighton Le Sands. Australia always do well when the swimmings on, but by the end of the Olympics, we usually end up out of the top 10...no disgrace considering our population. Bye bye Bunnies. 🇦🇺👍🐓 Jim.
@@evogardens Thanks for watching Jim. The light rail trip on the way down made it easier. Yep bunnies behind 8 ball now. You Roosters need to beat a top 4 side first. Nothing to crow about yet. 😃
Great series HW certainly explains how, when and who over a week in Sydney. Thanks for taking the time and sharing your childhood stories and especially sticking it out at Coney Island lol😂. Cheers mate P 😊
Made it to the last vid, dedicated my Saturday afternoon for them, tomorrow morning I’ll watch the new vid 🎉now time for my own outside fun. 🤩 I enjoyed that luna park trip. Would wanna go on every ride 😂
Great video to round up the week HW. All travel pass for less than a fiver seems great value. Noticed that you say going down George St to Circular Quay where I thought of it as up. You certainly looked to be enjoying Luna Park. Perhaps they've decided to give King Cole different colour eyes.
@@vinbar35 Yeh technically it’s up if you consider North. But you get the feeling of heading down hill as you approach the Quay. Yep Old King Cole looks evil at present.

It's a psychological hurdle that they need to get over...quickly.

Cheers, staying at the 202 on Elizabeth St. Just a 30 min walk to the SCG and handy for Central Station to Blue mountains.
You could probably walk back. But I’d still be inclined to catch the tram up the hill.
