These daily vids are helping ne and the wife plan our Sydney leg of the visit. First time in Australia. Doing the blue mountains by train. Doing it now in Nov on a Tuesday, out of Sydney avoiding the city crowds. Keep it up, waiting for Thurs to Sunday. Staying in Surry Hills.
@@edwardjones7065 Nice. Recommend you go to Single O for a coffee while in Surry Hills. The Mountains I suggest you get off at Leura first. Leura I think is superior to Katoomba for cafes and shops. Head to Katoomba after to see the Sisters and railway.
Hey HW....you are on the move! Cool elevator at the start. Wed is our hump day over here. Every street, museum and park in Sydney look great. Thanks for the Wed tour!
Another one down and nice to see the art museum from the inside. Unfortunately we don’t have many free musea here. The big ones aren’t cheap eather.great video, thanks HW 🎉
@@brenl5727 Hey Brenda fyi I accidentally mentioned you in a vid I will be releasing later today. I was supposed to say Jenny who the info was for. Apologies. HW.
Hi HW, Love the video. The big teddy bear in the museum was cute but a little scary, as it moved. I like to go around museums and see all kinds of art. Are all these museums admission free? I like to see old art such as aboriginal art. Is there any in Sydney. The visit to town was okay and I timed our zebra crossings. It was around ten seconds, but the road was not as wide as your city roads. I made it in eight seconds! Looking forward to watching Thursday's video later. 😊
The Conservatorium of Music building was originally designed by Francis Greenway as stables for the Government House horses. They built Verbrugghen Hall (the tall part in the middle) on what was the central courtyard of the stables.
@@hwtours No. I'm not too sure if they do tours, although I think they put on concerts for the public. Sadly, I don't think learning to play the recorder in year 6 entitles me to attend as a student.
Have to say that as far as museums go, I can't say I'm into art galleries as much as history or science ones: too many pretentious exhibits for me. Still I'm an art Philistine so what do I know? Halfway through the week now so hopefully get to sunday before bed.
Being in the UK, i get to see two in a row 👍

@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue Thanks again 🙏
Loved seeing that Bugatti and the "Stranger Things" sculpture outside.
I don't think you'll be in shorts today (Sunday)🥶
Great work, HW.

@@evogardens Glad you liked it. Correct no shorts today. PS: What happened to the chooks? They almost got cooked by the Eagles.
@hwtours
They declared at half time, and switched off..made it exciting for the Eagles fans.

@@carollizzi6494 Only a quick glimpse of these free joints. I don’t wanna spoil it for future tourists. Ten seconds hey. Not too shabby.
Cheers, great local input. A lot of bookable trips have a big fat profit on them, trying to use public transport. Also visiting Mel bun and Perth.
@@edwardjones7065 Yep the train from central to mountains is fine.
Nice to see inside a museum, unfortunately I never got to go in any of them when I’ve visited Sydney.
@@happyplace444 The Australian Museum and New South Wales Art Gallery free too.

@@daveg2104 Haha you read my mind. I was about to recommend learning the cello.
@@hwtours A recorder is more practical, although probably more annoying, at least the way I played it.
