Glad you’re back Emily! I hope you feel better soon! I just got How to Lose a Time War and I’m so excited to read it. I also finished Bunny and at first I was on the fence about it, but as I sat with it and reread some parts, it actually grew on me more and Mona is definitely a genius!! While it was hard to read from Samantha’s POV sometimes, I loved the bunnies 🤣
thank you so much!!! 🫶🏼🥹 i am so excited for you to read time war, please update me on your thoughts! I totally agree about Bunny, Samantha and I did not always vibe ESPECIALLY in the first half of the book
Mona Awad is my new favorite author as well. her writing style is truly unique. i am reading rouge currently and it is so good. i have already read 7 chapters because the story and the writing and the vibes, most importantly, are perfect. 😍😍😍
Hello from singapore! ❤ Chanced upon your channel today & I really love all your recommendations! Your explanations of the books made me add so many to my TBR list. 😍 I'm wondering if you'll have a July wrap up video or monthly wrap ups in the future? Would love to keep up with your reads and ratings!
hiii welcome to my channel! thank you so much for your kind words & for watching! 🫶🏼🫶🏼 i have a may wrap up on my channel currently & will likely do june and july as one! :)
YESSSSSS so glad you did it! 🫶 I should have included Neverwhere in my biggest disappointments… 😶🌫️ but the memes are a plus. So excited to read This is How You Lose the Time War 🙏 …and Bunny 😖🫡
I’m planning to start reading The Ballad of Never After today and can’t wait! And I just read Piranesi and agree with your thoughts, loved everything about it and Piranesi as a character ❤️
I have not read Ninth House or Hell bent but you mentioned a rescue from Hell. Tad Williams wrote a trilogy called Bobby Dollar and in the 2nd book an angel gives up its powers to go to Hell to rescue his love, a demon woman. I could not put that one down.
New to your channel. If you're looking for some short stories to get out of your reading slump, I really enjoyed Prima Facie by S. Miller or Foster and Small Things Like These, both by Claire Keegan. I'd be interested to hear your reviews of these novellas if you have time. Get well soon!

Some good choices - nearly got whiplash when Camus showed up. That'll be quite a different vibe from your other reads, so be ready for it!
