Orlando need an elevated metro rail system
Especially now that Brightline is open in Orlando and Miami on the other end already has one.
@@ChatGPT1111 Yup. Orlando have to catch up to Miami
Born and raised in Orlando. I’ve so many changes, 43 here. I miss all the orange trees / many have been cut down. Loved my childhood. Still wouldn’t leave. Love it. Great review. ❤
Romario, this was an impressive and insightful video! It clearly shows your deep understanding of the area, the challenges it faces, and the potential it holds. Your editing skills and storytelling ability are outstanding, a cut above what many of your colleagues offer. It's always refreshing to see content that's not only informative but also engaging and well-produced. Splendid work!
I appreciate that!
I've been here for 23 years, and man has it changed. The amount of development is insane and it's not going to slow down anytime soon. Wish it would.
Orlando has grown 10x too fast for the infrastructure to keep up. The new Brightline train is a step in the right direction and the extension to Tampa and new stations will help. The brand new $MultiBillion I4 Ultimate project is already almost at capacity.
Heck Chat back in 1984 they were 8 years behind on the infrastructure.
Your video editing is getting great!
Thank you!
Thank you very much for the honest review. It changed my view of Orlando. It looks like it is beautiful and has many opportunities in the city besides heat and the traffic. I appreciate your time.
I love Orlando Florida so much, I want to live there!
Another excellent video, Boss! Please continue your outstanding work and accept our gratitude for providing us with such exceptional content!
This is like the nicest comment ever lol, thank you!
Moved to Florida 15 years ago, and it's changed a lot. I wanted to live in Orlando but ended up 2 hours north of it. Prices of Homes, HOA, and insurance is pretty high and not worth the price of moving here to start over. Also, competition from buyers from other states along with the Airbnb and, snow bird vacation homes adds to the lack of inventory.
Orlando, was bound to change. The more people visit, because OF The Theme parks. The more people think they can live here
Love your videos! Thank U!!😊
Glad you like them!
LOVE hearing of the upgrades coming to Lake Eola for it is so busy there in dire need of more parking for events for it’s difficult to get rideshare from the area for nightlife
Great video! IMHO SunRail
Is another wonderful infrastructure asset for visitors and residents to enjoy.
Yes, I wish they would operate for more hours. Super cool to take it to the Magic games from Winter Park
Well in my opinion, Orlando is the best city in America. I'm from Detroit. I look forward to relocating there after I dot my i's and cross my T's
🙌🙌
Thanks for the info, sir.
Appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Romario, love the vids. We come to Orlando annually to view new suburbs. We have been to Winter Garden (my fav) and Lake Mary. This year we are visiting Clermont and were considering Apopka but I see their crime isnt the best. Can you recommend some suburbs of orlando with great schools, low crime and which doesnt break the bank. We live in DC so we are used to high cost of houses. When we move in the next few years we will likely be in the 600-700k range. Thanks!!
Thank you! Well I love what you're doing with the annual visits. Can't really speak on my personal opinion but I'd refer you to edudata.fldoe.org/ReportCards/Mapping.html to get an accurate barometer of grades. As far as crime goes, unfortunately same thing.
I'd check city-data and niche, for reviews, look forward to chatting more.
I moved here to Orlando, 3 years ago. I agree with everything you said. Downtown Orlando needs to be leveled up and more of a downtown feel. It’s a very boring area. Needs to be things to do for all ages! I’m excited for the changes here. I’m in lake nona and this area is not what i expected it to be 😢
Orlando is beautiful. My favorite city I’ve ever lived in.
4:15 that is almost exactly the view I spend hours of my day every saturday seeing when I ran a booth at that farmers market (Winter Park). This shot was taken from right in front of the popcorn booth and I was the one just to the right of it! Damn I miss that yellow omlette trailer way in the back...
Haha nailed it!
What’s going on in Minneola, Winter Garden and Clermont? Orlando needs more Wholefoods
I have lived in Orlando for a couple months now and I think I agree with everything you've said. There's so many great things about Orlando, great food, the best Theme parks, and nature here is so beautiful. However even though housing is like half the price from where i grew up, the gap between wages and housing is not great. If wages were up like 6 dollars an hour, there would probably be low or even no income inequality. Also as someone without a drivers license, it's hard to get around and if I had to get a car, I'd probably have to live in it since i couldn't afford rent. Thankfully I live in an area where buses can get me to where I need to go but that isn't all of Orlando.
The video makes a strong case for Orlando's potential! I especially liked the point about the theme park industry fueling economic growth (around 2:30). What are your thoughts on the that Orlando has the potential to be the best city in America?
Hey Romario, we are in Orlando alot, were from St. Louis MO. We will be in the market for a house or condo. Will hit up your business phone when we are coming in town next, would you have time to show us some places? Thx again...
Hey! Sure thing, shoot me an email or text.
Look forward to helping out when the time comes.
Wow
Wow extremely well done shows the truth about Orlando. I’m in logistics and have seen everything single street in Orlando and central Florida. The worst traffic areas are sand lake entering dr Phillips. Narcoossee rd in lake Nona all the way to 192. Anywhere in Kissimmee the traffic is terrible. HW the traffic is unbearable reminds us at my job early days of poinciana where they forgot to update the roads. Clermont state road 50 and highway 27. The real problem
Is everyone travels into Orlando for work and everyone leaves Orlando to go home. All this is done at the same time. We need more high paying jobs in Clermont/HW Dr Phillips/Kissimmee/stcloud/Apopka/and I’m not talking retail or hospitality. And you didn’t even talk about Davenport and Haines city traffic. Thanks you really open my eyes sometimes the grass is not greener on the other side. Grateful to live less 20 minutes to work 10 miles. lol
Good thing is, a lot of those areas you mentioned have active construction projects, just taking a bit longer than a lot of folks would like (myself included haha)
@@OrlandowithMario entering Dr Philips has always been terrible. And I’ve been since the early 2000s 24 years later it’s just as bad has it’s always been.
What we need is more high paying jobs. There’s a reason everyone moves to Clermont and poinciana it’s affordable but all those residents work in Orlando
If we had more jobs in thoses areas other then retail and hospitality Orlando could definitely level up. My logistics industry always needs people but few go to school to learn the trade. I know you don’t like Hunter Creek but come today at 11am osprey park you will see why so many people struggle to leave the area for new construction. Bunny in the park just one of many festivals put on by the community. Just saying 🫡
Been here for six months a lot has happened since then , I think I will move soon... not sure where yet. I feel lost
I feel the same way...Hope the best for U! I think I'm moving soon too...Blessings!
@@patricianorman209 Thank you . Same to you. Bessings and good energy
@@moreadventure3627 🙏😇❤️
All these upgrades are great…if better paying jobs come to the area. If not, what’s the point? It’ll just be another Miami (where I grew up) where the only people who can enjoy the city and all that it has to offer are the tourist and the rich. Real estate has skyrocketed in 4 years and homes that were in the low 200s pre-pandemic are now going for just over the 300s. No one working in the parks or the leisure and hospitality industry in general has seen their pay go up 50%.
The poor people could never afford to go or live in any of these developments . I've lived and worked in Orlando and moved away when I retired .
#truth better be making more than $500k+
Yea, I think i good, i'm stay where i'm at.......
Can you tell us who the person that shows how Infrastructure could change is? You showed a clip but didn’t mention who it is
Ahh yes, that was my bad. Streetcraft is the instagram handle.
Shout out to the Kowboys!!
Hello my friend, I want to open a Turkish restaurant there, I don’t know if you’ve heard of it before, but I’m going to sell ( Döner ) , what do you think
Originally born in Winter Park, and raised in Sanford. I would really like to see the Greater Orlando area get rid of the trashy section 8 housing, and the socioeconomic parasites who live off welfare refusing to work. It would really make Orlando the best city in the United States. Clean it up, bring in more forward thinking companies to stimulate economic growth, and diversify it from primarily Leisure & Hospitality. I'd like to see Orlando become the new Silicon Valley. I still got faith in Orlando though. A true focus on developing a Public Transport system is a necessity.
please stop moving to Florida!!! for the love of God. just stahp!!!
❤❤❤
🙏🙏
Disney World in is Orlando so yes.
I think vegas does a better job with sporting events
Hi my family is going to move to Orlando 1 day we're in ftlauderdale 😊!!$$
Let's go!! One day my friend, one day
Is there a lot of gen z people moving to Orlando
Build so mass transit in this damn city.
every single city is actually best city for me since my income belongs to the top 0.5%.
Thats simple
😂 #lifehack
Orlando should be called leisure city the jobs with good wages should be geared towards construction, trucking/transportation,natural solar energy, theme parks, hospitality/ farming and crops restaurants and its not the highway/road infrastructures thats the problem its that everybody has to commute to jobs that pay higher wages inside of orlando if they created jobs they pay good in there home area you wouldnt have so much traffic yes bus services especially in the burbs is a must and that would help too and do something with the housing market and make it more affordable again and the food and gas prices are rediculous too but yea they thought the homeless crisis was cute in florida because its a warm place to live but nawh that shit was ugly and sickening who wants to see people on the streets like its zombie land or something it could be a much better place if everybody is working and thriving making the Dub zero a better place to live, man las vegas is looking and doing better than the big O little o right now!!! Orlando has a long way to go for it to be considered the best city in america and you know orlando people are not brightest either the less money people make the less educated they are!!!
That thumbnail isn’t a picture of Orlando 🥴
Correct, couldn't find one I liked, so I asked AI to come up with what it thought Orlando looked like under a pretty sky and that's what I got.
Interesting what these things come up with lol
You left out the sunrail in Orlando.
I did! Left out quite a bit; My fault, wish Sunrail operated for more hours
I remember you saying you liked to take the Sunrail to Magic games.
Tourism relies on real estate. Real estate relies on tourism
government and mismanegment of funds goes hand in hand
lol
Florida is expensive
Hot crowded
Jobs don’t pay much
Decent video. But whats up with ya younga obsession of getting rid of cars...... drinking and the wall amenities....... sounds so robotic. Like thats the only things in life.
Orlando is an NPC city
Orlando is trash. Never again!
Feel u, where'd you end up going if you don't mind me asking?
Good stay away please.
We lived in Orlando for 4 years. It has become way to busy. You have to fight for every resource. Also way to many immigrants changing the culture for the worse.
for the better*
@@FirstnameLastname-oy3bc definitely not. Its the slow grind to a shit hole
@@mustanggt106 sad to admit - if the influx didnt come with crime...
No because it’s in Florida 🤣
Where do you love living?
It’s in Florida and the Governor is DISSantis! Gross
That is a bat shit crazy left wing thing to say. Stay out of Florida!
We love him, so Carry along
Those are the best parts. Come out from under your rock.
He is the best loved Governor in the entire country by the residents of their state. If you watch main stream media (and I do to see what lies they spew), you not only know nothing about Desantis, what you do know is 100% fabricated. This is NOT an understatement.
SU. Move to Cali
Orlando needs a better public transportation system 🚌 🚆
