Hobo Ahle hi
I’m you fan from the philippines 🇵🇭
I mean your fan.
Yos Creek camp is way better and there are no lines
💗👍
These videos are honestly the only reason I still watch RUclips. It’s so interesting and adventurous. I love it so much.
Thank you for such a descriptive vlog. I’ve always wanted to go there. Maybe for spring break. I hope you enjoy tent life and look forward to your upcoming videos
What if you don't bring a bear, will you still need a bearlocker?
Mr. Right 😂
I was wondering that myself... was that a bear locker or a beer locker?
@@timb6985 Depends on how cold it is, i guess...
XD You'd be an excellent person to camp with.
Truuuuuuu
So awesome to see this video now. I was exploring the park last week!
We decided not to do camp 4, it was a bit too crowded we wanted to find something a bit more private. Some amazing hikes! Went camping and it went below freezing at 9,000 feet.
Now in Bangkok though so so much warmer! 😊
I remember I stayed in large tents with gas heating that you could rent in Yosemite. This was in November, beautiful place.
Great video explaining how Camp 4 works now a days. It use to be so easy to walk-in and camp. But all of Yosemite has changed thru-out the years.
very helpful video! helps get familiarize with the process. However, in my experience, I didnt even a camp site at all when i was here in first week of Oct 2019. There were over 20 People were "camping" at the Kiosk just to enter the lottery to get a camp. This happened both nights was i was there and the line already started at 7PM. Only a handful of campsite were available each morning. I also learned that Camp 4 is popular and very hard to get a camp site because its rock climbers popular spots. I was by myself so I had no problem just sleeping in my 4runner. The ranger came knocking but he was nice enough to let me stay in my car overnight as long as all food and toiletry supplies were stored in bear locker. Going back in December and hoping to find another walk-in camp with no reservation required.
About time someone on youtube did a very detailed step by step on how to ....... Great Job!!
was just in yosemite yesterday. the sunset was amazingggg.
Hot Yosemite Tip... Winter Season... more or less any time between Labor day in Fall till Easter in Spring Is virtually empty during the week. Weekends fill up a lot more, but never as bad as it always is in Summer. Tip number 2... A lot of the most spectacular photo's you have ever seen of Yosemite were taken in winter season. It's beautiful to have that park all to yourself, in winter.
Thanks for this Ahle. I’m going to Yosemite in 2019 but I haven’t decided if I’m tent camping yet but the information is appreciated. Have fun there for all of us.
Guess you'll have to be early as the notif squad.
In other notes, I absolutely learn a lot with your videos. Thank you very much! Stay safe always 💜
Hera Adriana Consunji I wouldn’t camp with a big crowd of people.
@@classicscustomsandhotrodso600 Why not?
Yosemite is all ways fool, so we just camped at near by campground , 30? min ride away than drove to Yosemite in the morning and stay there for the day!
Yosemite has cabins too but need to reserve 5-6 months ahead!
szaki where at?
Yosemite seems amazing! Stay safe.
April thru Sept there is no overflow parking across the street...the only parking for camp 4 is in the camp 4 parking lot...that is why the Ranger issues you a car pass when you register. The parking across the street from camp 4 is day use parking for Lower Yosemite Falls, no parking after midnight.
Wow, very thorough Ahle. I've been climbing there for years but I had to watch anyway, you are so sweet. Hope you got some good climbing in!
Alexandria,
Thank you for the informational tour on registration and seasons at Camp 4 at Yosemite National Park.
What is it like waking up in Yosemite, a beautiful experience, deep breathing of pure air?
You sound so relaxed and fluid in your speech, the oxygen levels in the park must be the best in the U.S.A..
Do you dream more while sleeping in the park?
I hope your days are filled with adventure, wonder, and safety.
Vincent
So helpful! Thank you!
Welcome to the High Sierra's my backyard.
Just spent 3 weeks up their car camping
Got down to 19° one morning.
Great hot spring's in Bridgeport.
You should check it out
Love the videos! Your like an hour away from where I’m from! Hope your loving the scenery! Has it started snowing yet?!
You're part of the reason i joined the van life.. well, Jeep life. It's been awesome.
I absolutely love you!!!
hey this is a very helpful video :)) I'm hoping to camp in Yosemite in July sometime (I know, busy month!). but i'm worried that i do not get a spot and have nowhere else to stay over night. do you reckon that as long as you arrive very early, you will get a spot? Or are there other camps similar to camp 4 that may have spots available?
nice job a helpful video!! thanks for doing this!!
Just noticed your above a quarter of a million subs. Great work, keep it up!!
Thanks for sharing just finished hiking out of Towollami Meadow's good to know if not ready to head back to Lake Tahoe.✌🐼🤳
This is so helpful. Thank you!
Great content! Look forward to more videos of Yosemite! Love Yosemite!
Please be careful out there. Don't end up missing like other people 😞
ILYSMB 😘💨💞
always helpful thank you for the tips
You had me at them eyes! But, yeah, sure camping is cool and stuff.
Alexandria,
I hope you have a fun at Yosemite, enjoying the great outdoors is HoBo True. You look great, relaxed, refreshed, and happy; It's great seeing your bright eyes, your light spirit, and your joy for life.
Do you have bear spray? I'm worrying now! "Bear-lockers??? I guess their intended to store food so bears cannot get the food. I hope they are smell-proof also, so bears and mountain lions cannot smell the supplies. Maybe I'm just worrying too much.
Have fun,
Vincent
I used to practically lived up at Camp 4 during my college days
During summer I would sleep right at the kiosk to get a spot, also best to be there during the week and not the weekend.
Oh wow that's awesome to see. So what made you decide on doing camp life?
Nicely done .
The best BushCrafter in the World!!!
Greatest camp video. Ty
great tips thank you
Lol I need to take notes...so much information :D
I love living like this, no need for walls and rules. Paying to camp is dumb but Yosemite is worth it and 6 bucks isn't as bad as most places in California.
The reason why I ask because I looked online saw more of buildings, wasn't sure if things changed.
OMGosh was that an actual payphone at the ranger station??? 😮
Great video Ahle!
Headed up there this weekend on a last minute trip, came across your channel looking up camp 4. Any other campsite you would recommend? Something more secluded hahahha. I'll take what's available but I'll be there 4am, I was hoping to line up for a spot at 6 tho. 👌 for the info
it's the only first come first serve campground in the valley :\ you could potentially check the mariposa or tuolumne areas but those are about an hour from the main park. Good luck!!
This was so helpful!
I love your videos
My daughter is currently working there and lives in one of the employee tents!
how awesome!!!
Yosemite over the winter?, you will get dumped on with snow. Like over your head high. And in a tent, uuuufffff. Make sure you have a backup shelter plan w a heat source, a backup food/cooking plan. Sometimes the road is closed for quite a few days/weeks. Bears will be a huge issue.
Great info for 1st time campers to Yosemite - particularly since any cabin (don't even ask about the hotel, it's ridiculously expensive) is $100 ish a night during Winter season + 2/3months advance booking. Side note/comment: the way RUclips processes sound makes the verbal audio softer, and JOLTS the music and beat so much that w/earbuds it's startling and a bit painful. Maybe you can normalize the decibals? Cheers 🤗
jesus, why is everyone's tent right next to each other. i mean the whole point of camping is to get away and enjoy nature. you should come to canada, where the provincial/national park camping is far away from each other
Tony Cao I was thinking the same thing
Absolutely! Some people view camping as just a change of venue for a party or sleep over. Others view it is a chance to get away from people and civilization and commune with nature. Pitching a tent on dirt surrounded by 20 other tents does not feel like nature to me. But that is just one person's opinion and everyone has their own personal opinion about camping.
thats a big climbing camp in Yosemite. There is a lot of climbing around that camp so usually people go there just to be really close to the boulders and walls. Theres even a boulder with a couple problems right in the camp.
I absolutely agree.
If you have never been here, you would not understand this climbing cluster. It is a whole culture. Also, there is not very much room since there is a humongous granite wall (and other cool granite domes all over). There are many climbers that actually work part time in the park and then climb the other times. IT is unique in itself. There is a LOT of open camping areas in California that we know that are free....yes FREE that one can totally get away and have a fantastic wilderness experience but Yosemite is a special place. Tony -- there is lots of places to get away from others and Camp 4 is not really one of those. Chalk on the wall is part of camp 4.
I forgot- is camp 4 flush toilets? I went 6 weeks ago and stayed at upper pines which had them. My fiend originally wanted to camp in the little valley at the top of Nevada falls but e couldn’t get a permit for that, thank goodness- that’s a long way to carry camping gear
How about if you have a reservation do you still need to go early?
Great video, Ahle.
Oh, can't people share food-lockers (they seem quite big enough)?
Really good information thank you so much !!
I remember I arrived at 5am and there was a line of 5+ people already xD
This is not camping where people get out to the mother nature. This is like process to get a spot in the refugee camp.
Will the Bears come by to count the people at the camp site?
LOVE LOVE LOVE to see your face :D Great vid as always :D
Great I,information, thanks☺!
very helpful video, thanks
What a legend
Can we camp out deep inside the forest away from the camping ground for free? The idea of going to national parks are to avoid people
I was going to leave in a Friday morning and get there late afternoon but you are saying registeration is only from 8am to 8;30am ?? PLEASE HELP!!
Beautiful!!
Super helpful
Lol im planning on going here soon, this is perfect
Why did you ditch the van are you doing another upgrade. Can't wait for next video
Sean The Detail Guy they don't allow people to sleep in their vehicles where she parked
@@Ahnaee55 oh thank you for letting me know I was concerned but I'm glad she is ok
Very nice video, I enjoy watching your video, I love it. I appreciate you so much. More power to you & God bless.
Are there any places in the Valley that allow overnight parking? What is the situation in the Lodge parking lot?
LOVE!
that's what they consider camping?
How can all those people bunched together in one spot camping?
They aren't there for the camping, they are there for the climbing. Im sure most of them would prefer a hotel to be in that exact spot, but you get what you get.
Seriously! It looks more like a group camp area.
Very informative thank you !
What if I want to go camp at secluded lake, are the any opportunities for that there, or is it not legal
Not exactly for safety but how long are you staying with your friends at camp four.
Able, I live you, you're beautiful...keep doing videos and tell us again how your doing being alone....I remember your video about being alone so much....hope you're well and good
is there a maximum amount of days you can stay?
In Yosemite Valley the max is 7 days (camping).
you are so ridiculously pretty omg
Do you think there are spots you could hammock camp?
Yes I'm hammock camping today
I want to go camping at the camp with the campers,,and I think I seen an open spot there on the right flank
Do they have any disabled Camp spots where you can roll your vehicle right to the camp spot?
Do they still have camp sites?
What was that machine to the right of the envelope drop slip @ 5:47?
Thank you for captioning your video!!!!!!!!!!!
Do they charge you if you just park your van there and sleep in the parking lot? I would rather just park and hike without having to set up camp.
trust me, I would too haha but it's a gamble if you wanna sleep in your van/car. They give pretty steep tickets for that in the valley >< they lighten up a bit depending on season, but no matter when it is the rule is "sleeping in vehicles is not allowed" -________-
@@HoboAhle what if you have a tent setup for your truck bed? Even though I have a 40' DP, when I want to get off the beaten path that is how I go.
I often go to Yosemite and sleep in my car. I arrive late and get up early. I've slept in parking lots, tunnel view, and Half Dome Village. Don't draw attention to yourself and be aware of where your parking, I've never been kicked out. In total I have probably stayed in the valley for a month or longer without having any issue.
Do we need to bring a lock for the locker?
I camp, cook, do everything
Do you think arriving around 6-7 am early May is a bad idea ?
Now i know, thank you :)
Your bunny teeth is cute
Thanks for the info
Camping is Fun! 😂🥤🍔🍟
Is it possible to sleep in your car instead of a tent if you buy a camping spot?
❤️❤️❤️love you Ms. Ahle🤬
What is that big chrome box to the right of the self registration paper work.
A Smartphone 📱😂
@@georgipopov4409 😂
It's the impound locker...
You look so stunning Ahie ,I want to go camping now 💘💘
For what are the best lockers used?
Cant you book a site online?
How's ur Van coming along?. I miss seeing u in it.
WHAT HAPPENED ?? EVERYTHING OK??
VAN IS STILL GOOD ??
ISNT THAT A DOWN GRADE??
Love Yosemite but camping sucks. The spaces are so small you can’t park two cars at your site and then fit 3/5 tents on your site 😔. My family said never again will we camp there. We prefer kings canyon huge sites or the camp sites off the known road. But Yosemite is still awesome to visit.
