This was really awesome to watch! I have a pet Starling, he's going on four years old, but he LOVES to take baths. He even taught himself to say "Go Splash Splash!" These birds are so smart and people really don't see how awesome they are over here in the States. They just consider them pests, which is sad. They really are magnificent creatures! Thank you for the awesome video!

We do all the filming ourselves at Earth Unplugged - most of these are shot in a studio near where we're based. Glad you like them!

Never thought I would see the words "ultimate" and "bird bath" together... Or that it would be so awesome!

I am really happy to see you focusing also on birds and their behaviour. Way too little is known about these wonderful small-scale plumed dinosaurs.
    Excellent job!

oh, this reminds me of my pet starling as a kid, he certainly did love taking baths...they are such beautiful and smart birds, even though everyone says they are pests, just because there are millions flying around all the time!

Thanks, guys! I'm writing a series of books that use over 200 animals as illustrations for principles of human interaction/communication. I ran across your vids while doing some research and I must say the quality of your work is absolutely astounding. Keep up the great work and thanks a million for sharing.

This was amazing! I love watching birds bath, but maybe you could consider Miniature Singing Quails having a sand bath. I bought a couple from a pet shop once, they had been deprived sand to bath in for so long, they went nuts for about an hour. Wont be as spectacular as this with the water though! This would make a good DVD too, very rejuvenating just watching how happy they are :-)

This was my morning bath today! ;-) How was yours? 8-)
I had a baby crow for one entire summer when I was a kid, maybe 11 - his mom had abandoned him so I fed him and taught him to fly. Maybe he needed no help with the latter really. ;-) We climbed trees together every single day, he stood on my shoulder or sometimes my head. He lived in a card board box - was very clean and very smart, and very very lovely! Love birds.
