  • In this hip pocket class we will build a L3Handoff via the DNA-Center to connect to a vManaged vEdge.
We will have 3 Virtual Networks (CAMPUS, GUEST & IOT) in this live we will explore how to:
    1) Map VNs to VPNs
    2) Create BGP Peering between border and vedge
    3) Use route leaking to get reachability to a DHCP server isolated in the CAMPUS VPN located in our HQ Site.
I welcome anyone that wants to attend this free training.

I’ve already deployed c8500L devices as cEdge for an SD-WAN, now the consideration is adding SDA at each site. I know the C8500 is currently note listed as having the Control and Border capability which means it’s thIs method that’s required. Im curious though, does the latest versions configure the cEdge side now also when DNAC and vManage are integrated (I mean the sub interfaces and BGP etc) ? From what you said, I’m sure it does the. n to VPN mapping but I’m also curious if there are still any manual steps there also.
Thanks Vincent! Can always rely on your videos for up to date content when it is severely lacking from Cisco! :)

Thanks for this kind of video.... It really helps a lot.
Does SD-GEEKS have rack lab to learn more about DNAC ??? its not a cheaper one to learn.

We have live labs and live lectures during the week. I have been teaching a weekend class for Narbik (which is now done) and I plan on having weekend sessions in SD-Geeks starting in the middle of March. Those will revolve around SDA but not focused on the CCIE versions. We will be using 2.3.3.x and looking at Wireless and more advanced Assurance operations and tasks (Plus Programmability).

The network I'm an engineer on has no wireless and there will never be a need to because we don't serve end-users or devices that require wireless. I'm not sure if the network will ever convert to SDx or not, that is still be figured out.

Have you thought about doing Velo Cloud in your SD Geek?

Once I get the current courses finished I definitely plan to do Velo and NSX.

      Good morning sir
Awesome that's great. The reason I asked was that my company going with Velo-Cloud instead of Cisco SD-WAN boooooooooo. I'm studying for my CCIE. Looking to sit in Micronics class next year. If we do TLOC extension next week. Can you add TLOC as a Loopback for use cases where your MPLS network doesn't have internet connectivity?

Thank you sir. I really appreciate your time and effort and heard nothing but great things about your classes. Can't wait until Friday to sign up with SD-Greeks. Do you guys use discord as a method for communicating in SD-Geeeks?

Happens to the best of us ;p.
Out of curiosity, are the vlans configurable or will it always use 3001 onwards ?
I think you suggest newer versions have you configure it?
Coincidentally, I have a customer who is asking about SD Access to integrate with an already deployed SD-WAN and 3001 -3010 are used for LAN transit links one of the existing sites. SMH
