This song perfectly shows the nature of Wick as a character. Foreboding, dramatic, with a serene kindness that shines through, but respects the subtle hint to an age much older than one would assume; one that belongs to someone who has lived through and seen a great many things. Like an eldritch horror with good intentions, Wick is a wendigo-like _thing_ who chose the role of grandfather.
Everyone’s favorite cryptid mentor now has a leitmotif.

Once again you blow us away with your many many talents! Haunting harmonization with yourself, beautifully crafted and maneuvered figures. Also, is that a guitar? Or a Mandolin? Where do you learn all this stuff? Blows my mind.
I was wondering what that instrument was as well ?! I am guessing some kind of "Bazuki" (spelling might be off!?) A Greek instrument.

Wick’s voice was made for folk music. Could you consider doing “Railroad Boy” as performed by Warren Haynes?

The song is amazing. I love how the vocals stack on each other to make a chorus. It has an eastern feel, if you see what I mean.
(The dobro is just a shade too loud, though. But no sense redoing it now.)
I think your version of "Babylon" would be amazing! Its a old gregorian chant, really beautiful, and mystical feels. Don Mclean (american pie) did a really beautiful version of it! ❤

So I just looked it up, and a "Balilwick" is a particular area of interest that one operates in. So, Wick here is the culmination of everything Barnaby loves and is passionate about; puppetry, music, and atmosphere.

I love these tracks. How about doing Nick Cave - Lay me low? Maybe it's a bit long and goes a bit intense towards the end? I can just see the backing choir do that "lay me low"
Are the backup singers the same puppet with different light filters on? I've wondered this for a while as they seem to have exact same strands sticking out. Just wondering what would be the benefit to this as they're obviously making slightly different motions which would suggest separate takes.

Man I'm really trying to hang in there but these Bailiwick weird accent singing things are just not what the channel promised to be when I subscribed. It is disappointing. This used to be a comedy channel with a genuinely brilliant character at its centre. It's none of those things now.
@Albigensiac I second that ! While I miss Dab Chick's acerbic take on things, Barnaby's voice is a balm to the soul.
I am a patron - not a lot - but I believe in Barnaby. I want him to grow, experiment & do what makes him happy. I know I will enjoy what he comes up with.
Besides, there are plenty of Dab Chick videos to "deep dive" into, should folks care to.
@Albigensiac I am 60 years old, consider myself a creative, and think a LOT of the problem is the "speeding up" that has happened to our culture. You don't have to wait for much, lol !
When I was a kid, I had to wait until the library was open to see if the book I wanted was even there. Now, Amazon will get it to your door in days. I DO think you will find things - unique things, surprising things, when you are delayed. "The road less traveled" !
I cherish the childhood I had that had no electronic devices attached. Playing with other kids (no parents involved. We learned to negotiate!), playing outside & going everywhere on bicycles. We slept well, lol !
The music of the 60s & and 70s was varied, unique, and amazing.
To bring this "full circle" back to Barnaby, I LOVE that he 'noodles' around with different musical doo dads, is constantly trying new materials and ways to do things. He's not wasting his time on social media - he is being creative.
