Ir was certainly a great route, Stu. That Beeley Moor is a killer. I hadn't heard of those two lots of murders. Trig isn't the Ethel. After going across Beeley Moor, I dropped down like you did to the sign. Stephen is a great guy. He certainly puts the miles in. Another great hike filled with history. Thanks for sharing, Stu.
Brilliant...that song thrush at the start sounded wonderful...the best singer of all the birds in my opinion....enjoyed Gibbet moor...last time we were up there we saw a couple of Crossbill near where you saw the Warbler....Hob Hursts house is an interesting place...pretty tough going along Harland edge..Never knew about the Pottery cottage murders...all in all a classic walk...thanks for that Stuart.
Hi Stu. Brilliant video mate, so much interesting history. Loved every minute of that. Loads of heather bashing up on the moors. I think im heading for my first solo wild camp on Tuesday night in the forest of Bowland. Up after work for the sunset and then after the sunrise back home for work, the next morning. All the best mate and thanks again for the great video Dave 😀🥾⛰🏕️👍
Thanks mate. I'm out on my first wild camp in 35 years tonight. Currently in the tent trying to get to sleep 🤣🤣🤣 up at 430 for the sunrise then home and work! Have a good camp mate, you can't beat it!
An interesting walk, covered a few places along that trail, and well done getting to hob Hurst house without finding the bog - last time I went that way I ended up waist deep in the bog
@@thepeakdistrictviking I think the penny dropped quicker for you than it would have done for me mate. I'd have had the map out and thought where the fuck is She feld🤣🤣
Very interesting mate, not a big fan of that area of the peaks, I call it the desert 🏜️ of the peaks, but some how you made it sound really interesting, loved the rant too, I’d love to go out as a vigilante and catch these bastards dropping there litter 🤣, thanks again Matt

Thanks for watching. Harland Edge was the worse part as no real paths apart from keepers paths. Don't think I'll revisit in a hurry 🤣🤣🤣
Great video mate, love those old track signs 👍
I've just ordered a book that lists them all! That should keep me busy. Cheers for watching
Nice walk mate. I walked Beeley Moor about 15 years ago. I need to get back over to England and do some more walking at some point ;)
Let me know if you do!
Good vid pal
Cheers mate, thanks for watchjng
A walk I've been wanting to do for a while and I've been wondering why that path was 'closed'!
Glad it was helpful, hope you enjoyed it.
