Lol Van Halen opened for Boston in Anaheim in 1978 and Scholz started playing this guitar solo and EVH said he almost kicked his ass backstage after the show!
From what I heard it was really hot, humid and rained all day long, the line up was strange, a bunch of southern rock bands, then Todd Rundgren's Utopia, Then Boston. Probably would have been better if it were just Utopia and Boston.

Any pyrotechnics-savvy people here know what that explosive is that Tom uses on the guitar?
I went to this show and only 25% of the seats were occupied. It was sad...

I guess that explains why the cameras barely show the crowd at all.
In other words: _Eruption._
Lmao that was the first thing that came to mind
um eruption is more than just 2 handed tapping
Did Eddie ever invent equipment and effects pedals? Ah no. Tom is there shit!!
Should've put this kind of stuff on an album, but Scholz was too much of a perfectionist
Sound like Eddie van halen
