    Definitely going to make these. Haven’t had them since my Mum died 16 years ago. She used to sometimes add a few peas.

    Must try this! Looks so good. I've never baked any type of pastry like this but is worth a try. Can you use a regular mixer to shred as well?

    Hi Jehan, any reason why you put eggs in your dough this time? Your previous recipes did not have eggs. Just curious.

      Eggs add richness to the dough. You can make either one, it's up to you.

      Yes, but it won't have a shiny golden color.
