I appreciate that you include the recipes in the description box! Saves us from having to back outta the video to go to some damn website. You're one of the only ones to do that these days so kudos to you! 💋
My guy, I need a whole island menu. Can you make some Caribbean rice and peas, Jamaican Jerk lamb chops, oxtail curry, salmon or chicken and shrimp Rasta pasta, beef patties- so I can get ready for Mother’s Day
Good job adding the coconut milk as some islands do not include this. Adding coconut milk makes for a richer, more delicious sauce. Great recreation of a traditional meal.
Us Trinis don't use coconut milk of we're eating it with rice or roti. We tend to use the milk if it's a curry crab or eating the protein with dumplings.
Never commented before......thanks for washing the chicken with lime juice, as a Jamaican trained chef...I approve this curry chicken recipe. Job well done chef!!!!
Made this last night and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the authentic Jamaican Curry Powder and the Walkerswood Green Seasoning from Amazon. My family asked it we could keep in rotation. We really enjoyed.
Thanks, chef, gracias. You make everything so simple love how explain everything with detail. Ever since I found you been making your recipes, I love it great gracias once again
Thank you so much for this!!! Literally drooling! I can’t wait to make this for my family, just ordered some of that green seasoning, cnt wait! lol much love all the way from Oceanside ca
My best friend’s mom is from Trinidad and she taught me how to make this when we were in high school, however her recipe didn’t include coconut milk. I can’t wait to try it this way!!
Man im cooking curry today i luv it job well done mr make it happen....everything on point.....today dinner will be curry chicken with white rice and side a plantain n coleslaw 😊😊😊😊
Omg, I'm a first timer, I googled how to make this and your video was at the top! I'm getting ready to peel the chicken and marinade it. Thank you for making this simple and easy! ❤
I just love the crispy skins, I really felt that when he said he was discarding them this time 😵 Hopefully at least a dog still got to have them! I just can never really throw perfectly usable stuff away... its a problem sometimes.. so much so I even feel the need to comment on videos about it 🥴😅
first of all, you are amazing, I tell everyone to watch your videos....i absolutely love your boys and their reaction to your cooking, keep doing what you're doing!!!
Your Tender Curry Chicken looks scrumptious ! and I love how you included chicken broth to the curry chicken too, and burning ! the curry seasoning ! I have to try that ! thatz a new cooking term when cooking Curry Chicken for me. 🤗🤗
@MrMakeItHappen please consider making Haitian Spaghetti 😊 I’m African American and made it last night and it was 🔥 There are so many recipes on this app for Haitian spaghetti but it can be confusing to follow sometimes and understand 😭 Your videos are so easy to follow along and you explain things so well. 🙏🏽 My husband said it was the best spaghetti he ever had but I have nothing to compare it to.
Tip: If you have a safeway (kroger) in your area and they dont have scotch bonnet peppers go to the ethnic isle and see if they have scotch bonnet pepper sauce. 😊
My husband sometimes watches MY people I follow on RUclips 😊 Like many of your dishes I’ll be making this real soon for us. But, one thing my husband is going to use from you is for his buddies! You guys “are here for a good time, NOT for a long time”. 😂😂😂❤
Would it be alright to chop up some asparagas and through that in there, without interfering too much with the overall flavor? I like to get my cooked greens whenever I make a meal.
That's crazy when you said how dry that lime was, because I bought some limes a few days ago for juicing and couldn't get not one drop of juice out of them. How weird. Maybe it's not the season for them🤷🏾♀️
Can you do a double burger tray cook out style with double chili cheese seasoned fries and a banana pudding milkshake( from the Cookout menu lmao) … pleaseeee!!! Ain’t no cook out or bojangles in Colorado.. what a shame
Sounds good. However, regardless of how it is cooked in Jamaica, I would use boneless/skinless chicken thighs so no one has to mess with the bones in the cooked dish.
Jamaican here, you did your thing, Chef!! And yes, I was 👀 to see if you “washed” your chicken.. lol Big up yourself!!
Hahaha I was watching to see the same. 😅😅😅
Same. LOL!
thank you!
You must not eat out. Because if you think KFC spend all that on washing chicken check yuhself. 😅😢
Bros jamaican. Kfc prob different there. @@horlicks3920

Coconut milk is optional for chicken, but a must for crab and shrimp.

You are adding to much water, let your chicken make its on water that's the secret to a good broth take it from a 80yr Jamaican here
There is never really too much water if you start with 2 tablespoons of curry and 1 spoon of masala
I've been waiting for this one Matt! ❤

I have this issue that my curry is not
Thick enough so I’m glad you made this video 🎉🎉
Nice I’d definitely put this over white rice 😮💨
Walkerswood has a hot scotch bonnet pepper sauce I use in every recipe that calls for the peppers
That's crazy when you said how dry that lime was, because I bought some limes a few days ago for juicing and couldn't get not one drop of juice out of them. How weird. Maybe it's not the season for them🤷🏾♀️

Please do a curry goat recipe video!! I love getting it from our local Caribbean restaurant but don’t know how in the world to cook it myself! 😂
Looking good.
Wheres rhe shopping list??

Yes lawd!
Sounds good. However, regardless of how it is cooked in Jamaica, I would use boneless/skinless chicken thighs so no one has to mess with the bones in the cooked dish.
Is there anywhere I can get the full recipe for this?
I'm allergic to coconut , can I use something else?
Love chicken curry
